Yeah… that’s because they do it a lot and know what to do. The nutrients of foods are different outside developed Western countries. Not worse or better, just different and it’s a shock to your system when you’ve never had it before. Combine that with jet lag when you don’t deal with it normally, the stressors of surroundings you’re not used too, and the reports that it was over 90 degrees in the octagon when Justin fought Khabib (anecdotal not measured) and you’re gonna touch gloves in pretty bad shape already

Actually if you know anything about khabib you would see he has alot of holidays to Abu Dhabi and has spent a fair amount of his time there and the timezone from Dagestan is about 3hrs compared to approx 10 hrs different from where Justin lives in Arizona. Jetlag and adjusting to such a big timezone change and diet change can take up to a month to fully recover from. My older brother who is a bit of a fitness freak regularly works abroad in Australia and he regularly takes more than a couple weeks to adjust and feel 100% and to preform aswel in the gym and lift the same amount and run as fast and far as regularly. Also even khabib himself has openly said that he even said to Justin that he thought he as suffering jetlag. Either way it wouldn't of made no difference to the fight obviously but jetlag/huge timezone change and diet change can make you less than 100% for a good few weeks.

Love you guys #fullsend crew 👊. Khabib and Gaethje are my favorite fighters . The best part for me from that fight was after Khabib poured his heart out 🎤 leaving his legacy and honouring his father . And right after he commends Justin gaethje as a friend and person and his team for respecting martial arts 🥋 and Justin’s big heart and true character 😅
