Today we are unboxing the FINAL PURCHASE of 2022, that I actually planned for 2023. But due to waiting for my Rolex Submariner for a year and a half, I managed to save up the funds for this.
The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch was always on my wish list, but the previous generation had the long T-shaped end links that increased the watches size to 54mm lug to lug, making it too big for my wrist.
When Omega launched this version in 2021. I was happy as a todler and knew I will be getting one, it was only a matter of time and money.
Planned for 2023. I managed to snag it before the end of the year.

Congrats. I got the same Speedmaster model not long ago and absolutely love it. It hacks and is accurate as all hell (5 seconds fast over 5-6 days).
It’s my dream right now to get this watch. It’s my goal for the year. I truly love this watch so much. It might be my favorite watch ever.

I think it's a great choice. I wouldn't go bigger than this, but it looks right on your wrist. I'd also choose a sapphire crystal for durability, and I really appreciate the combination of the following 3 features: updated (co-axial) movement, display case back, manual winding. I have heard omega started including the new clasp with easy adjustment on new speedmaster models, you can see some videos about it on CZcams, maybe that's why the guy in AD passed on this one😬

Wow ,superb!This is the only chronograph I like due to the fact it looks beautiful. Most people dont actually use the function thou(stopwatch/mobile/digital watch IRL). But this just looks awesome in my eyes. One of my grail watches as well along with Casio Oceanus,GS and Rolex.

I'll probably get the Bulova Lunar Pilot instead which on my 7.5 inch wrist will work (I know it is not practical for those with smaller wrists).
My two coworkers have the Lunar Pilot, and yes, it is waaay too big for my puny wrist
I have the Bulova Pilot & it was my stepping stone to the Omega Speedy! The Bulova is such an underrated watch! The accuracy of the quartz movement is mind blowing! On the Speedy, I was not in a position to buy new so I bought a beautiful 2005 model from Japan some 3 years ago! It came with the box, papers, cards & was in near new condition! Unbelievable! Keep that in mind, but obviously you do your research.👍🏼😎

Sold my Roles Sub for the same reason - just to long for my wrist. Never felt comfortable when wearing. Rolex might want to follow and go to articulated end links.

I always enjoy a watch with fantastic packaging - Tissot used to have amazing packaging but they changed it. I Don't like the new packaging. Zelos and Christopher Ward also used to have great packaging I think Zelos even used to provide a watch roll.
Yup, they all have great ones.
Zelos now switched to a metal box instead of wooden one
