Sorry but all this proves is Brian is 🚮 A text that she raised her voice because he wasn’t communicating doesn’t really provide any deeper context to me. People in failing relationships argue so what’s that proving???
When you had Bryan in your driving with Dave he seemed so genuine and honest, I remember how he said she didn’t believe in his practice and he didn’t really share any job related with her, I thought that was sad not getting support from your spouse
HE didn't believe in his practice! Why did he shut it down?! People are b-coastal all of the time! If he discontinues crackin' backs for a living, you will have your answer. He did what HE wanted to do. Rachel didn't put a gun to that man's head!
@@xojeanetteg3741 looks like she was right, if he’s making so little money.
She gave him support, financial support, I remember her saying on her IG page, for people to go by his office, and ck things out, because he had up to date equipments, she also had her friend influcer to go by, to make ig ads, for his business, she couldn't run his business, for him , so if he's not thankful for that, that's his problem, but him trying to hurt his wife by lying on her is a sad scary thing, for a man to lye on his x wife, and air all of this trash out to the public, I haven't her trashing him. 0:06 trashing him
He’s a trash person. Does her not believing in his career explain why he would warn 16k/yr. Please think carefully about that. Not even a bartending college student earns that. 16k a month is absolutely insane to me when he’s not a parent and doing the child raising. Disgusting man. He’s lazy.
That text proves nothing “next step” could be 100 things, counseling, separating, mediation, getting attorneys, etc. it doesn’t mean “divorce”. He also says he can’t wait to get out, but he’s still in her house. If he were my client, I’d tell him to shut up
agree 100%. The way this guy was bending backwards defending Kaitlyn and now doing what he is doing to try paint a black woman as the villain is disgusting to say the least. He is full of it. leave this woman alone gossip man because you are not on her clapper.
Exactly! ... He also sounds very insecure & greedy; complains that Rachel wasn't interested in his job, jetted across the country with her job leaving him stuck at home alone & stuck at his job; it's all ridiculous. That she dis invited him to events. He is obviously jealous of his wife...It's ironic, the producers as well as Rachel, initially were very suspicious of him, but at 37 years of age & his mature slickness, he eventually won them over...(Their initial impression of him, was right)...
Rachel is more concerned with her career than she was about her marriage! Now she thinks she’s above everyone, especially Brian!
@@lindabell5479 no you wrong racheal loved loved loved that handsome light skinned guy. She made sure who she wanted..and not her kind...byrian fooled everyone 😂..I knew peter wasnt in2 her
@@lindabell5479 why do yall make comments like these? you do not know this woman at all so please stay in your lane and stop judging people who you know nothing about. what is wrong with you all?
Abasolo stated he wanted a family. Yet, he claims to have made practically zero dollars monthly.
When Rachel did what is/was necessary to earn her daily living, he is now demanding half of her income.
For the amount he disclosed to have earned monthly, who can care for a family on that sum???
He could easily have been a stay at home dad.
@wakanda6754 You gave me a belly laugh.
Yes, I LLOL!!!

I think people are always shocked and hurt by divorce filings, whether they see it coming or not. 💟
Firstly, Brian lived in Miami while Rachel lived in Dallas. They both moved to LA so what’s up with this he moved for her, did he have a gun to his head. Take the 10k and keep it moving. Some people actually work and don’t make that monthly.
@joyi7016, No Brian moved to Dallas and they lived there for a while. They then moved to Miami, lived for a while, then she moved to LA. It took a while before Brian moved to LA. Then he eventually moved there but could not work because he had to take the State exam before he can work same in Dallas. I listened to her on a podcast interview and she said that the divorce was a mutual agreement and it's something she wanted. Maybe I heard wrong.
You have this in correct, Bryan took the California test in California, before they married, while they were still living in Dallas, so when he moved to California he already had his license to practice there!
@@joyi7016 Why would he take the 10 K and keep it moving… when he likely is going to get more than that if you run the numbers and use California alimony calculator he’s entitled to a lot more than just 10 K a month. She made 60 K a month and he made 13 K a month while they were married. Under California alimony law she has to pay him 40% of her income-50% of his income.
It’s based on net income so we don’t know their actual net income but if we’re just going by gross that equates to about 17.5 K a month. He’s asking less than that at 16k. She wants to give him 10k so they meet in the middle. It likely will be around 13 K a month plus he’s entitled to half the property value of the house because it was bought while they were married and California is a community property states. If he just accepted 10 K on the table He’s walking away a lot less than what he should’ve gotten and that’s what the lawyer is likely telling him. No, let’s stay in the game. We can get more than just 10 K a month.
@@jackiebenjamin8772 Bryan got his California chiropractic license January 11, 2018. about 2 1/2 years before Rachel moved out to California. Texas has stricter regulations for chiropractors than FL or CA, so Bryan was unable to get his chiropractic license in TX due to some disciplinary actions he received in FL.
The decision to divorce was a mutual agreement but Bryan broke the agreement when he filed separately. They were suppose to go thru mediation and work out all the details privately, then file uncontested (a lot less expensive, very little negative press and you don't have to involve the courts).
@@irene67678Very interesting! Makes sense.
21:19 this is the crux of the entire financial aspect of this divorce. I’m sure his practice was profitable in Miami. Asking him to shutter it and move across the country to reopen it in a much more competitive market will cause financial stress. He may still be in debt because of it.
@@jswaby he could’ve joined an existing practice with a guaranteed salary and an established client base. He didn’t have to take on the costs and associated problems with trying to start a business from scratch. Have you looked at his website? It’s a piece of crap, if he doesn’t have any clients it’s because he does a lousy job of marketing.
he shouldn't have been on the show if he wanted to stay in Miami
It would definitely cause a financial hit.
@@camlaw88 This statement is so insensitive - do you own a business? Are you an entrepreneur? I don't think you understand the sacriface it would take any person not just Bryan to up and follow someone to another state or city to try and make it work? Did he not have his vision and dreams before meeting and marrying this woman who said she wanted to be married and have kids with in a few years to flipping the script to pursuing something entirely different and he trying to still accomodate her because of his love for her and wanting to make it work? Why should he have to give up his dream of owning his own practice to joining or another or finding a job in another? You're talking about his website being crap, do you know the process of even finding funding to run a business?
@@m2g73 lol-I’ve had my own solo law practice for 30 years, I was smart enough not to try to hang out my shingle until I had a solid practice in my area. You act as though Bryan had no agency. He clearly was on board with the move. He chose to open a practice in Beverly Hills as opposed to a more affordable area, or join an existing one.
You’ve also made some serious assumptions about what transpired between them. Maybe Rachel did want a family, and still does, yet not with him for reasons you or I will never know
“Disingenuous” could be as simple as Bryan and Rachel creating a vision for their future that included building a family and raising kids and it’s completely possible that Bryan felt Rachel wasn’t doing all she could to create that reality for them and was placing her career before having babies. As time passes, getting pregnant becomes harder. I believe they experienced some difficulties in getting pregnant. I think Rachel mentioned that in a podcast at some point. And I suspect that if Rachel was wanting some space and less pressure from trying to procreate, Brian could experience that as her being “disingenuous” to her commitment of creating a family with him. All perfectly logical and reasonable for both parties. And a stressful and difficult moment to navigate for any couple.
Exactly 👏🏽 this could be what disingenuous means but very disappointed cheating was the first thing assumed. Even though he refuted the baby assumption, he said she actually really wants kids but is struggling healthwise.
Part of me feels like the disclosure of private messages is a low blow, but then I remind myself that these are in court documents, not on Instagram posts. I am not a lawyer, so I still don’t see why it is necessary to include though. How do private texts, such as those included in his response to Rachel’s filing, help his case? Isn’t a divorce just about numbers and not about the actual relationship?
Perhaps, it was requested by judge...you never know what sort of information was requested for the case.
As a small business owner it is extremely challenging. If I picked up and left my clientele for my spouse and had to start all over, I would want to be compensated. All these people talking shi* have never ran a small business and completely unaware of the overhead costs verse profit.
Bryan was on Dave's show. Dave is super biased against Rachel..
*biased
Yes he is. Absolutely. I was so shocked Bryan went on the show; especially since the host was always negative against Rachel...I think they were using each other...One wanted more clout & patients, the other wanted & got free or cheaper medical treatment.

Bryan aint foolin' me! What successful business man closes down his practice to follow his wife to another state for a new entertainment business she's pursuing? All he had to do was leave a qualified manager to run his business and fly back every week to New York or Miami (wherever this supposed successful practice was) to crack his favorite clients' backs. He could've opened up a 2nd office in L.A. based on the success of his 1st office and national exposure from The Bachelorette. I think he knew early on that he didn't want to be married to Rachel and strategically set himself up to be in this situation.

Bryan saying Rachel was disingenuous could mean about anything. I do see Bryan as being someone who has traditional values. I think Brian just wanted to get married asap, live in Miami close to his family and start a family. I would imagine they talked about it and Rachel said she wanted the same thing. He probably envisioned a quiet life and figured she would return to being a lawyer or maybe even cut back on her job. Rachel, on the other hand probably felt she should take advantage of all the opportunities and was in no rush to start a family. In the end I think they wanted different things for their future.
Rachel is a clout chaser.
@@s.d.9543 Yup. And if Rachel isn't careful, she will find herself like Ebony K. Williams... choosing a sperm donor because no high-value man will put up with her "Independent Boss B**ch"ways.

@@irene67678 I agree, he loved that she was a go getter and making money. he always praised her for it. I think he thought that EVENTUALLY they would settle down but not immediately.
IMO this looks horrible for Brian. Being that the Bachelorette isn’t even his first reality show, I have always and still find him disingenuous. I believe he’s upset that she was more successful and famous and now just wants to squeeze as much as he can out of her.

How come, genuinely?
Listening to the bit at the end - and seeing Kaitlyn Bristow's comments about the failure of her relationship- it strikes me that Rachel would have loved Bryan to be more like Jason Tartick i.e. figure out that his business wasn't doing well and use the experience he gained on the bachelor pod he had with Mike Johnson to start his own podcast and make other opportunities.
Omg she owes him nothing 4 years!
@@deborahrich2666 that’s not how the law works 🤣. No prenup and all her money was made after the marriage. California is a community property state.

It’s easy to speculate on anything and everything based on the bits and pieces of info we get. I’ve seen my close friends’ marriages breakdown and even when I knew what was going on, and even then it’s not the full story. I’ve seen their love story unfold and was also rooting for them, sad to see this is how it had ended but I do wish them both the best and will reserve judgement until the full story comes out. A marriage breakdown in private is heartbreaking enough, let’s give them both some grace as they navigate this rough time in public. ❤
The fact that Rachel went on the Viall Files right before the divorce came out and talked about how they were gonna spend more time together and try to have a baby- all while (as we now know) knowing that he is about to file for divorce is the definition of disingenuous. She was fabricating her narrative of being blindsided. Disappointing to see her do that.
My best friend was planning for a baby weeks before a divorce. Life is weird and these are people.
@@nathaliemurillo-flores7731 actually Brian said she’s not lying about that. He literally addressed that on his page in the comments under his divorce announcement when people kept bringing it up. I agree with the person who said he should’ve just taken the 10K and walked. He could find a nice apartment for 3000 in LA and then pocket or invest the rest. Cause putting all the business out there is definitely not a good look. There’s definitely double standards with men getting alimony from women and it doesn’t make him look good. Releasing the text messages and wanting more money shows that he’s angry at her, which is understandable, but he’s embarrassing both of them and the interest of self preservation, He should stop being public about this.
Why would he take the 10 K and walk when he likely is going to get more than that if you run the numbers and use California alimony calculator he’s entitled to a lot more than just 10 K a month. @@AGFootyFan87 I understand all that, but when you’re trying to be an influencer, is everything and this is not good for his image. That’s the main point of my comment.
@@LizNeptune I highly doubt he’s trying to be an influencer. More than likely he walks away with this at 13 or 15 K a month alimony for two years plus half the property value of the house in LA. He goes back to Miami working as a chiropractor in a city that he has a lot of network and previous clients, he goes back to being a bachelor and he’s a catch for many many women. Hi six-figure salary, 6 feet plus tall, in shape, no kids, and a lot of women find attractive.
His was likely making $125-150k at chiropractor in Miami, plus the $13k alimony for two years, and what ever half the property value he gets from the LA. He’s going to be good.
Let’s be real. They met on a game show, which set the relationship up for challenges from the beginning. From the first episode of “The Bachelorette,” Bryan love-bombed Rachel, which came across as opportunistic. He doesn’t seem to be Rachel’s type, and it’s clear they are not a match. Rachel made a mistake by not insisting on a prenup, as Bryan doesn’t deserve access to her money.
Rachel wanted to be the go getting powerhouse, going after her dreams. This is what happens to men all the time when they are the go getter providers in the relationship
Bryan’s goal here is to shame Rachel in the public eye in hopes it pushes her to give him what he wants in the divorce. So am I surprise that he’s feeding Dave information so that it gets covered in a video and podcast he knows gets views? Nope.
Dave is super bias in favor of Bryan
Wild, isn't it?
Whoa.
Just sounds like he was preparing to file and she was still thinking they were still in the trying to work it out. Sounds like he wanted them to start texting so he could build some kind of case as he knew he wanted to divorce and it seems like she didn’t and wanted to work on their marriage. She seemed like she kept hoping to repair their communication. He seems very messy and such. Really crazy he couldn’t flourish in Cali where Chiropractors make money from our litigious state and also because we usually have chiropractors as a status almost like therapist. As far as people disagreeing with Bryan’s behavior, it is always a turn off when a couple divorces and there are no children involved and the marriage didn’t have longevity and wants alimony, it makes him look like a weak beta male imo. As far as the relationship having problems it could be they were having issues about her struggle to get pregnant and him feeling insecure about her making more money than him, this happens a lot in relationships where the women makes more. In hindsight I know she is glad she didn’t because then he would be trying to get even more money and it would be another broken home for the child. If I were her I would pay for the 2 years of alimony just to get him out of my life.
Brian had a professional job. He had the ability to find work period! In my opinion he enjoyed the lifestyle until it ended.
damn this is sad. it seemed like he loved how she was such a "firecracker" before... and now it seems like she was too much for him.
Easily happens if one spouse is manipulative promising you the moon.
I'm a chiropractor. I don't think Brian is reaching, though I have not seen his expense sheet. The debt to income ratio is HUGE in this profession. People work part-time jobs to make ends meet in this profession sometimes. We make much less than most think, esp with high overhead, hellish student loans and interest rates, and ever decreasing reimbursement rates from insurance (sometimes they pay 50% or less and patient owes $0). I've been paying on my loans almost 20 years and I still have ALOT left. They don't qualify for any of the Biden relief or forgiveness. New healthcare businesses can take years to actually turn a profit and build a loyal returning patient base. I can't imagine what he spends on a marketing budget in that community. 😮
PS I couldn't care less if you do have a bias, though I feel you try to stay neutral when you can. But this is your channel...I would assume you DO have an opinion once in awhile.😅
@@morelove444 as a chiropractor, (any professional) then you should understand that it was foolish of Bryan to try to start his own stand alone solo practice without a client base, in Beverly Hills no less where rent and related costs are the highest in the region (ego). Bryan talks about her being a " word smith " ... at some point, she's talking to him as a lawyer .... time to , go to counseling OR move on.
he thought he had a dumb ninja
The main issue regarding money is they weren’t married long. For him to receive potentially 50k a month feels like a scam. Theres no kids , its not for alimony, its for financial support to separate and to take have of marital assets because there wasn’t a prenup. Its not a good look on him because of the optics. It looks like a financial scam to some extent considering how short their marriage was and the fact he didn’t continue working his career that could have made him money. It’s legally fair for him to get close to half of combined income but even if roles were reversed shed be called a gold digger
Last media printed claim was him asking for $16K @month.

I'm seeing too much reality on my screen right now. When will laundry be done?
Please understand for Brian to practice his work in any other State except Florida, he has to write that State's exam. Brian just couldn't open a practice in Texas or California.
Bryan took his exam whilst in Dallas and passed, he opened his practice in Beverly Hills.
Omg people are jumping to crazy conclusions without even knowing these people. Like Dave said… “let it play out…. It’s clear they were living separate lives and fell out of love for each-other.
I agree with you. While I am not a fan of Rachel's and have no real opinion on Bryan this whole situation is difficult and is getting very ugly. Let us offer both of them grace and give them privacy, even though they may not seem to want it.
Redistribute the lengths of the stick 😂👏
Hello Dave,
This situation is truly sad. I thought Rachel was a bit shady in the very beginning. My reason is because she never had really gotten over Vial the bachelor who she was on originally.
My reason was because Byran was taller, had great confidence and he resemble Vial, but is better looking than Vial.
Also, Rachel at first was talking about having her wedding in December. During the time she was on his show it was in December. Also, to me when Rachel was the Bachelorette. I felt that Rachel really was trying to get back at Vial.
My choosing Byran who look better and had great confident and self awareness.
I also feel that doing the relationship. Rachel was manipulateing Bryan. I really do. Rachel knew the whole world knew.
That Bryan wanted a wife and children to have a family. For his children to get to know his parents because they were older.
There is no hypothetical (if the roles were reversed, Bryan would have to pay Rachel). Roe vs. Wade was reversed. Men dictating what women can and cannot do with their reproductive organs is the America we live in. Bryan has the preferred organs as well as the complexion for the protection. Rachel is getting screwed (and not in the good way).
Hey muscle Dave 😂
Oooo is Bryan the source? Synpathetic ear....now it'smaking sense. Rachel he's hell bent on getting your money, just pay him - you will have a bright future girl.
Dave is definitely in the Bryan camp it’s pretty clear, so yes

Particularly, if they’re saying things to you about it privately. It’s human nature.
@@heyojanna there was zero reason for Bryan to take this public negative approach, other than to embarrass Rachel enough to give him more than he deserves under California Community Property practice. It’s all numbers. None of how they got here matters. Shitty behavior has no impact on alimony or property division, unless it relates to assets (set stuff on fire) or income/expenses (hiding cash or inflating expenses) Bryan’s strategy may hurt him if his negative portrayal of Rachel starts to cost her affiliations. @@camlaw88 exactly. he should focus on providing financial transparency to the court. let’s not forget HE is the one who wouldn’t sign a pre-nup and he’s making it abundantly clear why that is. however this shakes out, she only has to pay him alimony for 2 years so he should focus on figuring out how to make money for himself and stop dragging her name.

@@balancedlibra1792 He's not bitter. @@DaveNealComedianIt would have, yes. The thing is, she has nothing to do with anything even remotely connected to The Bachelor franchise anymore. It's mainly Bryan's side that is leaking this.
I’m surprised Rachel didn’t have him sign a prenup
She said on Natasha Parker’s podcast that she regrets not having one because she did want one. But Bryan had different feelings about having one. So Rachel said she dropped the issue so it would not become an issue with the marriage.

I think the real sniff test for any bachelor/ette alums' authenticity is whether they resume their original careers after their season. Especially since they lean in on the storyline of their career passions. Rachel was pretty quick to quit being a lawyer to be a talking head on Extra. Brian is committed to helping people relieve their pain. So I'm team Brian on this one. Also, brick and mortar and expensive medical equipment are hard expenses. All Rachel needs to be an 'influencer' is an iphone. I'm sure when she does fly someplace to conduct an interview she does not go out of pocket on flight, hotel, food. Saying this as someone who owned a teleprompter company with lots of gear that I fronted for, but clients had to pick up transpo, food, etc.
After the show Rachel went back to work at her law firm. While she was in Dallas with Bryan he went to LA for modeling. He was not successful and went back to Dallas. He wanted fame more than her. He just doesn't have the personality for it. He wanted to model on the side. Please get your info correct.
@@balancedlibra1792 where are you getting his idea that he wanted fame more than she did. One can say the same about Rachel. She was on the bachelor as a contestant and got the boot. Rachel even said when they got married, they were on equal footing. I would argue that Brian was more successful in the beginning of the relationship because he owned a condo in brickle Miami and Rachel didn’t own no property at all. She lived at her parents house and then lived in an apartment going back-and-forth.
Do you know how much money you have to make to live in Brickell Miami? People who live there make a lease 150K a year. I think if the gender's were reversed no one would see a problem with the asking of community property and spousal support at all. There in lies the problem! If Rachel had given up a thriving business to move for Bryan, all the while Bryan continues to make money as an entertainment reporter, host, etc, continuing to make a substantial amount of money, and Rachel was never able to get another business off the ground, then they split up, of course Rachel would be entitled to half of what Bryan made while they were together and spousal support. @@balancedlibra1792 All we know is the difference between their gross income. Hers is 60k and his is 13k
Under California law he entirely to spousal support for 2 years since marriage was 4 years.
California alimony indicates the higher income earning spouse has to pay 40% of their monthly net income to the lower income spouse, minus 50% of the lower income spouse monthly net income. As mentioned we don’t know the true net income. Alimony will usually only gross minus taxes and benefits. It’s not going to considered the fake business expenses Rachel is indicating and even it’s true she spends that much a month the court will likely have her make it work and cut expenses elsewhere.
So as an estimate it’s 60k x 40% = 24k. 13k x 20% = 6.5k
24k - 6.5k = $17.5k. So the $16k Bryan is asking for is likely taking into account the net income.
Rachel only wants to give him just under $10k. I guarantee she’s going to pay more than $10k.
