This is the second part of a two part documentary detailing the rise to stardom of two of the most famous and yet polarizing figures in all of Mixed Martial Arts, the Diaz brothers. This second half focuses on the younger brother, Nate Diaz. - Sport
Yo thanks for this..I randomly found it thru some other vid. Had the worst 1st day at a job, some clown trying to act hard towards me, I thought we were gonna throw down. Head felt like it was gonna explode driving home, depression attacking me.. it's like this video came at the right time. It's definitely giving me some sort of hope. I've been the outsider / underdog everywhere I've gone my whole life. Initially I disliked the Diaz bro's, after seeing Nick trash BJ Penn on a UFC rewind type thing on cable TV here in Australia. Once I got to know who they are/ where they come from/ what they've gone through, I immediately started to identify with it.
I am so sorry to hear that broski! I know exactly how you feel, I've felt like the outsider in most situations throughout life as well and often been treated like it as a result but I too found a lot of parallels between myself and the Diaz brothers, especially Nick. I thank you immensely for dropping your comment though, little stories like this are exactly why I make documentaries in the first place. I want the world to know and understand that these type of guys who seem so much tougher than the rest of us can fall prey to exactly the same pitfalls. I truly do hope things get better for you in your new job and that you can find some peace in knowing that you are certainly not alone in your current situation!

Nick was Extremely upset that BJ signed the fight contract, and said he would have NEVER signed it if BJ hadn't signed it first.... He really didn't want to fight his friend... it may have not looked like it by the beating Nick gave him, but Nick is going to do what he comes to do... BJ wanted it, and he got it..!
But Nick considers BJ a good friend and has real respect for him.
Man you just gotta shine people on and not let their ignorance get to you, I know it's hard with the sheer number of people acting the way they do these days... but you gotta let it go or it will consume you..! I'm 51 and it took me many years to realize this, but once you do things will get a lot better for you brother..! Just know these people are putting up a pathetic ACT to hide their own insecurities, and laugh because it really is funny. best of luck to you.!

3) 8 first round finishes.
4) Tied with Joe Lauzon for most post fight bonuses in UFC history- 14
5) CESAR GRACIE black belt.
6) Nate held the record for Most strikes landed by a UFC fighter.
7) Fight of the Night.... 8 times.
8) Submission of the Night.... 5 times.
9) He has saved many UFC cards, by stepping up on short notice... like he did at 196, which also SAVED conors payday.
10) Nate was recognized and awarded by the state of Cali. for helping and teaching underprivileged kids.

5) Nicks loss to a JUICED UP Diego Sanchez (YES!YES!YES!) was bullsh!t! NOBODY won that fight. Like Joe Rogan said, The judges didn't understand half of what happened in that very technical fight... What we do KNOW is Diego did NOT want to stand and bang with Nick.!
Same thing can be said for GSP, He just wrestlefcuked Nick for Pussy points...
Carlos"running man"Condit also fought for pussy points.. In Pride both these "fighters" would have been yellow carded and lost points for stalling or avoiding the fight.! Silva was Juiced and still didn't really win, In that fight Nick took his Begging guys to fight to the extreme....
6) Maybe you don't realize the UFC NEVER wanted either Diaz Brother to represent the UFC as a champion... they are too raw and nonconforming...NOT good marketing material. If you know about the Diaz Bros. you KNOW they have lost some bullshit decisions... Their legit loses are due to not fighting a pussy point fight... They come to FIGHT and are willing to get hit to put on a GOOD fight. They take damage and bleed easily so it looks bad for them.... But if these fights went till someone was finished..... Both Diaz Brothers would be champs...
7) Nick beat the breaks off of Gomi to be Champ in Pride and was robbed of the title due to a positive MARIJUANA test..... Performance-enhancing drug???? WHAT A JOKE.!!!!
8) Nick cuts easily, which costs him the fight against Noons... and also INFLUENCES judges decisions....
9) Nick is such a HARDCORE WARRIOR he had SURGERY to shave to bones in his face to help prevent cutting so easy....
10) Nick became the Strikeforce champ in 2007 beating KJ Noons, and went on to be the first strike champ to defend 3 times beating SANTOS AND DALEY who everyone thought Nick could not beat standing, cause Daley was a vicious striker... but Nick stood and beat that ass!!!
11) Nick was undeniably fucked out of a UFC championship when he fought The running man (Condit) at UFC 143 EVERYONE KNOWS Nick became a UFC champ that night...
12) STUPID people THINK Nick is stupid because he is not well spoken but has so much to say and jumps from one topic to another instantly (Possible ADHD) But if YOU'RE smart enough to listen and keep up, the things he say make perfect sense.!

In my humble opinion, the UFC and the MMA world owes these guys a debt of gratitude. Win, lose or draw they'll tell it like it is. No bullshit, they will tell you themselves it's a scary thing getting in the octagon and possibly getting knocked out or choked while everyone you care about and everyone else is watching. Much respect to them and all fighters and athletes, thank you for the entertainment and we look forward to seeing you next time ✌️

Great video- my all time favorite fighter. Finally getting my opportunity to see him live in Houston- once in a lifetime chance for me, not the typical MMA fan, ole female surgical nurse super fan and the $1300 of hard earned money we are spending (my son taking me!) is worth every single cent. I can’t wait, him and is brother is the whole reason I became a fan. So this footage is really great- thought I had seen everything out there. Super loyal fan!

Great video! I’m a super fan of Nate, thought I had seen everything on him so the stuff from his younger days was a bonus. Finally getting to go to my first event- with my FAVORITE fighter is a big ck off my bucket list. Not a typical fan I guess, a female surgical nurse who is using hard earned savings ($1300) to see Nate fight! I’m on top of the world and every he is worth every cent. Bonus is my son is taking me- so I have a true fan giving me a first class education on everything MMA! All is right in my world!

Here's my favorite Diaz fun fact. Not only do they have black belts in BJJ.....Diaz brothers got them through the Gracie family. If you do not know who they are watch the very first UFC event...watch Royce Gracie beat men over 100 lbs bigger. They have 30 family members who all can take down the Rock in real life. Probably the highest honor in the ju jitsu world getting black belts from their organization.... and they *__* go to the ground unless their opponent goes for a takedown. They don't use any of that they go out there with their own unique boxing Style but very similar and how they start with low power high volume and as the fight goes on gradually turn that around 2 high volume high power but always keeping the pressure coming never walking backwards

What SUCKS the most is Nate is fighting in Houston... I'm in Austin and I can't afford to buy tickets. I also don't even know if I could walk that much with a fucked up hip. I said when Nick fought if either one of them ever came back to Texas I would make sure I go.... Here it is and I'm so mad I can't go. Depressed... Upset... Frustrated.... Ect....
I know the feeling broski! I’m dying to go to this event as well but with the word the way it is at the moment and ticket prices etc. I just know I can’t make it this time around and it sucks but at least we can take solace in knowing that most of the world is stuck watching the event on T.V with us!
