Kiruna is the most northern city in Sweden, located in Swedish Lapland, 145 Kilometers above the Arctic Circle. It’s most famous as the location of the world-renowned Ice Hotel and one of the best locations in the world to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). It is a great location for Husky sledding, mingling with reindeer, riding a snowmobile through pristine snowy fields, ice fishing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. In short, it’s the perfect winter vacation!
