i used this foundation without using a primer. i applied it 8 hours ago at around 12.30 pm and it is almost 8.41pm now , i can say that it hasn't creased , hasn't become dooey and also it hasn't left my skin at all! on my forehead and on my nose , it is still looking flawless. i have oily skin ~ i used to use dior's star foundation but i decided to switch to this not only because it is cheaper but also because it last longer and doesn't feel uncomfortable on my skin even without primer on. but this is for my skin only. i don't know about others. i find that foundations word different on different skins.

I have dry skin and I looooove this foundation. I moisturize heavily regardless, but I also use the hydrating primer Maybelline launched with it. It's amazing especially with this foundation! I also use the Mario setting spray at the end of my makeup. That combination is heaven for dry skin! 😍

I haven’t had any issues with oxidation but maybe go one shade light just in case.

This is the first video I’ve ever seen of yours- gosh you are adorable and stunningly beautiful! I just discovered this foundation and it’s become my HG. I have dry mature skin and it makes my skin look flawless! It’s really amazing, the finish is AMAZING and it wear BEAUTIFULLY throughout the day! It outperforms and outshines every other foundation I’ve ever tried. It did not oxidize on me or breakup throughout the day. Maybellene hit this one out of the park!!
I'm a newer subscriber and you seem really nice and I love that you do a 3 days wear test on foundations! I thought I'd let you know that you repeat yourself a lot. That's nothing bad but I thought you should know in case you want to work on that ❤
I tried this foundation and I have very oily skin. I had to mix 2 shades to get a decent color match and once I applied it I felt like it made my pores way more visible and after about 6 hours of wear I was very shiny. My holy grail foundation is the Revlon colorstay for oily/combo skin. That's literally the only foundation that makes my skin look flawless and will last over 12 hours and still looks amazing when I go to take my makeup off before bed. ❤ Revlon Colorstay!!!
Jolene Lovins colorstay is my holy grail also (I’m also very oily) I’ve been wanting to try superstay or another matte foundation once I run out of the Revlon which is very soon but I’m scared none will work as good 🤷♀️
I miss the old formula. It held up in 100+ degree weather ten years ago 😭😭❤️

This was my ABSOLUTE favourite foundation ever. When I found out they discontinued it I was actually depressed so I'm soooo excited to get my hands on it again.

it had the exact same effect on me. first i thought „oh wow - best foundation ever!“ but after some hours my pores looked huge and it looked oily on my forehead even though I do not have oily skin at all. Don‘t really like it actually, even with the new formula. 6 hrs wear is not very long when it‘s actually meant to last 24 hrs.
So thankful you're an authentic person and are not afraid to show your bare face. As someone with pimply skin and large pores it makes me feel having these is normal. Thank you for this review!!

I love this foundation so much! I got about 12 days ago & have been using only this. I ordered 112 & 110 because I'm 112 in matte & poreless but 112 in the superstay is too dark. The undertone in the superstay was totally different than the M&P, more yellow so 110 is a better match. I also love mixing this foundation!! Ugh! I am so in love with this stuff! I have oily combo skin but with the weather being so cold and windy lately I've been getting very dry. I can NOT use a brush with this because it does make dry patches more apparent. BUT with a sponge and a hydrating primer around the perimeter of my face with an oil controlling primer in my t zone, it works great. Today I used a hydrating primer all over my face and it looks amazing so far (4hrs into wearing)! I'm seriously so surprised, when I am loving a product, I'll seriously try so many different things to try to find fault. I have only found it doesn't work well with a brush on dry skin. Seriously, that's all!?! Lol. I'm shook. Amazon is the cheapest place to get right now & it was delivered on a Sunday!
Jamie thank you for the color comparison of a more familiar product ( matte and poreless). Wish more CZcamsrs would do this in their videos. Only one I found that does it and with swatches is Thataylaa
I know! I've found one youtuber that seems to be the same shade as me with a lot of different products but she started self tanning. Still the undertone of 110 in superstay is much different than the matte & poreless, more yellow where M&P 110 & 112 is more neutral. It still works but I wish brands kept their shades throughout all their lines, the same.

Savannah Langley yes. I took a photo of it after 10 minutes & then did a fresh swatch next to it & there was a big difference. I wish I was able to share it somehow
Savannah Langley it dries down darker but throughout the day it gets a tad darker than that but it's nothing crazy. Like I said. I'm 112 in matte & poreless so I went a shade below in superstay 110 & it works

I have OILY skin and after trying all the foundations recommended for oily skin here on CZcams, the ONLY foundation that really works for me (excellent coverage, natural finish on the skin, amazing oil control, no breaking up (since I DON'T GET SHINNY even after 12 hours of wear), no need to touch up..) is the one and only Revlon Colorstay foundation for combo/oily skin.
I haven't found ANY foundation that performs better than this one yet, and I just love it and I know I will always use it since nothing beats it ♥
Missquichante I tried the revlon colorstay & I have super oily skin & I HATED it. Everyone loves it and I’ve seen so many reviews & I literally can’t stand how it wears or looks.
Appletontobe Maybe because you've applied it with a brush? I found it looks way better when apply with a beauty blender sponge and you only need 1 1/2 pump. But maybe that's also just everyones preference and skin differences.
Missquichante I’ve tried it with a brush and a sponge. It just looks super cakey & I didn’t even put that much. I started out light & tried to build it up. I maybe used a pump if even. I really wanted to like it because everyone seem to really love it, & I just couldn’t.😩
So far I only love revlon too!! I’m oily too lol. But I think I’ll pick up and try this maybeline.. but I hated the L’Oréal pro matte that everyone seems to love:/
Vanessa Sanborn This one from Maybelline doesn't control oil so if you don't mind being shiny/oily after 4 hours then yes try it. But for me, oil control is very important for a foundation and the only one that works is Revlon. Even Estee Lauder double wear got me oily and it looks cakey/makeupy af ! Also I found it breaks me out so definitely not a winner

WOW I had the same experience as you! The foundation starts out as powdery and really matte feeling on the skin. Then, several hours later it looks dewy, not necessarily oily, but I can powder if I want and blot to take away excess shine. I like the amount of coverage that it has and the fact that it is affordable, comes with a pump and I can get bogo 50% or bogo free at Ulta. Took me a few tries to find a shade match though because I have a very yellow undertone and so many of the ones that I tried were too pink and made my skin look gray.

I know you got rid of acne now but you can’t understand how much it was helpful in this vid lol, cuz seriously, other people who had reviewed this foundation on yt didn’t suffer from scarring or acne so I couldn’t judge the formula or how much coverage it gives and all. I have a very oily skin and a lot of dry patches, and i live in a tropical area (always hot here) yes, this foundation full coverage, not separating, and so forth but, it clings to dry patches and making my pores bigger (my friend always say i'm poreless, and it's make me pore big) I also laugh like crazy and its sink down on my smile line, now I'm just try to used up this foundation and try the nyx can't stop won't stop foundation.

I love how you make makeup look realistic and wearable
I love the effort and true tests you put it through and trying it different times. I have normal to dry skin and when I first tried this foundation I thought heck no! it looked dry and I realized the problem was I was using way too much and when I tried to build it up it made things worse. So when I tried it again I used a really damp beauty sponge, I made sure my skin was good and hydrated and then made sure to use one layer of this foundation. and then making sure not to use to much power than using a finishing spray worked really well for me and now this is my new favorite foundation. When I go through those steps it looks perfect and I also find throughout the day it almost warms up with my skin and looks better as It wears.

Allie im not sure if I have told you before or not but if you use cold pressed sunflower oil. It will help with oily skin or dry. It will control the oil. And is a natural acne fighter. Is high in vitamin a,c,d,and e! I've been using now for aggod 6 to 9 month and my skin is amazing I use five or so drops in my hand. Rub hands together and press it on all over my face!

Haai Allie, wow your liplook got me distracted hihi. It's so georgeous! I have this foundation iny drawer too and mix it in with another because on its own it is a little bit too cakey for my skin. Bit mixed in it stays in place alll day and the finish is great! Lots of love! 😘
