Ring ding Dong was written by the same lyricist who did Super Junior Sorry Sorry the same year and yeah it had autotune because he did music like that back then, but both songs were epic, sorry sorry was number one for years and even dramas created choreos based on it in their final episodes, still today they know it, and Ring ding Dong from Shinee was ban from schools because it was so catchy the students couldn't concentrate in school work because they had the song in their heads all day. So yeah autotune is awful now, back in 2009 it was amazing... everything in context ...

If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. SHINee's "Lucifer" came out in 2010, almost 10 years ago, so this was just kind of the look that a lot of MVs had back then. Take a look at a TVXQ, Super Junior, Infinite or 2PM MV, etc. from around that time and you will see a similar look and style. SHINee was setting trends in the industry with 'Lucifer." Why is everyone so thrown by their hairstyles and outfits in this MV? I think they are actually all pretty cool for doing something different that sets them apart from everyone else in the industry. And that is what makes SHINee legends and why "Lucifer" is such an iconic song and dance.You're not going to remember a group or a song if they look and sound the same as everyone else, you remember them for standing out and not being afraid to be unique. In the MV the boys don't have superpowers, but the "smoke" or "light trail" you see is supposed to represent the aura of a girl who has devilish powers like Lucifer, who is trying to possess them and take over their lives. As the English lyrics say "Loveaholic, robotronic ... her whisper is the Lucifer." (They are using auto tune because they are supposed to be "robotronic"-ly controlled by the girl who is "The Lucifer." So the auto tune is meant to make them sound robotic.) So, in other words, the women or girl they are talking about is so desirable that she is like Lucifer and you have to use all your willpower just to resist her wiles. In the MV you see them trying to fight against her powers and resist her attempts to try to make them bend to her will, etc. That's why in the choreography you see all the robotic moves because they are showing how "Lucifer" is trying to control them like a robot -- for example, they put their wrists together like they are being handcuffed to show how she is trapping them. And they vibrate to show how they are being manipulated by "Lucifer" and they are trying to resist her powers, etc. (FYI: That vibration you saw them do is 100% them actually shaking like that, there aren't any camera tricks. If you pay attention when they perform Lucifer live, you will see them do that exact same thing. :D) LOL we have no idea why they had to be dancing in front of a sports car, but that was kind of an iconic thing that Kpop companies did back then in a lot of their MVs, The group would dance around a fancy car to showoff their coolness and to give the video a more futuristic, expensive looking aesthetic. Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key's head was 100% really shaved bald on the one side. What you see is head has been shaved all the way down to his scalp. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. That's why Key's style is often just straddling the edge of outrageous, but somehow always manages to look cool. This was the era where Taemin had long hair and it made him one of the most popular of the members at the time, especially with their Japanese fans. But once you get to know him, you can never mistake those Michael Jackson-like moves. There is just something about the way Taemin moves that is effortless and unlike anyone else. Because you don't just watch SHINee -- its a whole experience. :D Yes, Taemin is the senior most member of SuperM. He is the one with the most seniority in the group. But he is not the oldest. As the leader Baekhyun is 27 and Mark is the youngest at 20. Taemin is currently only 26 years old, but he debuted 4-10 years before any of the other members of SuperM. Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 when he was 14 years old, so he is a super senior member of the group. So, as part of the hierarchy of respect, Taemin is the one everyone looks up to. Which is rightfully so, because Taemin has earned the reputation as one of the TOP dancers and solo performers in the industry, as well as a member of one of the best Kpop groups, SHINee. "Lucifer" may not be your favorite song now, but just wait. I think it will grow on you. After listening to it more, I think you might eventually find yourself drawn to it. Like Lucifer, you might find that the song starts to worm its way into your subconscious, and it gets you bobbing your head when you least expect it. Its called the Lucifer effect. LOL Now that you have heard the song, you will probably start hearing it all over the place. Its one of those songs that is used everywhere and it's kind of a SHINee theme song. It was even used on the U.S. Netflix TV show called "Lucifer."

Every time I watch or listen to an old SHINee song it’s like a jump back in time when oppa bling Jongie (Jonghyun) was alive it brings tears of sadness & enjoy because I miss his smile and powerful voice but when I listen & watch to the present SHINee I know and see Jonghyun presence still alive within his brothers and group which makes me happy but still tear up at times. Jonghyun along with the groups web segments that theyve done always make me crack up to tears 😂. When this title track came out there was allot of religious theories about it because of the word being used but it’s not that at all. *Reading between lines* it’s more about a relationship that the guy can’t seem to get away from because the girl is so evilly addictive (like lucifer) because in reality kpop artists can’t be in relationships with anyone without fans getting extremely jealous and Kmedias doing everything they can to get a story whether it’s true or not. Later, the album was repackaged as “HELLO” in October 2010.

All the members did solo work except for Minho. Jonghyun and Taemin (my bias💙🤩) have done the most. I already commented on NCT 127 “Regular” mv that you should check out Taemin’s work & listed songs & provided the links. Key released an album just before enlisting because he wanted to give music to the fans. Check out “I Wanna Be”, “One of Those Nights”, great dancing, beat & songs. Onew’s “Blue” is a haunting mv with lots of symbolisms & such beautiful vocals. It’s about a time when Onew was going through some difficulties (celebrating a friends birthday at a club, was drunk, lost his footing & by accident he grabbed/touched a woman’s leg, sued for sexual assault, he was put through the wringer by media & fans, he locked himself at home for a long time) while and how people turned their backs and others were vicious in attacks but what got him through were friends, family and true fans. Ring ding Dong was written by the same lyricist who did Super Junior Sorry Sorry the same year and yeah it had autotune because he did music like that back then, but both songs were epic, sorry sorry was number one for years and even dramas created choreos based on it in their final episodes, still today they know it, and Ring ding Dong from Shinee was ban from schools because it was so catchy the students couldn't concentrate in school work because they had the song in their heads all day. SHINee's whole concept since debut is they are supposed to be SM's experimental boy group, so they are constantly making and setting trends. Trends SHInee has started? Lets make a list:

"Sherlock" was the first time SM (or pretty much anyone in the Kpop industry) had ever used a famous choreographer, and at the time, it was the most expensive Kpop production ever. It was SHINee's skill level that proved to the industry that it was worth spending the money to have big name choreographers come up with dances that would help to showoff a group's talents.

SHINee really are legends in the industry. Their attention to detail and flawless vocals and dancing is what they are known for, and it's why they are so highly respected by their peers. (However, Taemin is always going to standout for his dancing. No one is as good or as powerful as him. Taemin is so passionate about dancing that he puts everything he has into his dancing every time. :D Next to Taemin, everyone looks like they aren't as good when it comes to their dancing. But the rest of the SHINee members are considered some of the best dancers in the industry as well.) The standard every idol in the industry strives to reach is the SHINee standard. SHINee really are one of the most talented and unique groups in Kpop. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch some of their live concert footage. I recommend any thing from their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) in Seoul or their SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul. You can find official DVD footage of the whole concert on CZcams.
Can you believe that SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group? Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular in 2008 when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. Can you imagine if the world never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today? Things would be so different.
May 25, 2019 was SHINee's 11th anniversary. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet they are younger then most everyone in their generation and are the same age, or even younger, than most other groups such as EXO and BTS, etc.which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry.
SHINee debuted in 2008 when Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now after 11 years they are all in their late to mid-20s. (Onew just turned 30 in December) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry.
The group is currently on hiatus right now because 3 of the members are fulfilling their military obligations.
Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best vocals in the industry. His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch or ever being off key, etc. His record still stands today.
Onew is currently serving in the military. He is part of the military's promotional team so he is spending a lot of time as a stage actor alongside several other idols who are also serving in the military right now.
Jonghyun is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed over 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer.
As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time.
As I mentioned, Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized.
He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Key is serving in the military right now as well. He is part of the military band.
Minho is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out. but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc,, as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win.
He currently is serving in the military and is a member of an elite branch of the Marines.
And as you now know, Taemin is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, both young and old. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. From the very beginning, even at 14 years old, Taemin was known as one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances.
SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know them better you will wonder how it was even possible that you couldn't tell them apart. As a Shawol (a SHINee fan) I tell people that once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of people. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of their's. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".
SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. You really should check out some of their live performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are also one of the best dancers in Kpop and they have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well, the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. So, that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends.

The guy you liked was Onew (Lee Jinki). He's also my bias 🙈💜 I hope you react to more SHINee because they are an amazing group! They're one of the reasons I became a full fledged kpop fan. SHINee's "Lucifer" came out in 2010, almost 10 years ago, so this was just kind of the look that a lot of MVs had back then. Take a look at a TVXQ, Super Junior, Infinite or 2PM MV, etc. from around that time and you will see a similar look and style. SHINee was setting trends in the industry with 'Lucifer." Why is everyone so thrown by their hairstyles and outfits in this MV? I think they are actually all pretty cool for doing something different that sets them apart from everyone else in the industry. And that is what makes SHINee legends and why "Lucifer" is such an iconic song and dance.You're not going to remember a group or a song if they look and sound the same as everyone else, you remember them for standing out and not being afraid to be unique.
In the MV the boys don't have superpowers, but the "smoke" or "light trail" you see is supposed to represent the aura of a girl who has devilish powers like Lucifer, who is trying to possess them and take over their lives. As the English lyrics say "Loveaholic, robotronic ... her whisper is the Lucifer." (They are using auto tune because they are supposed to be "robotronic"-ly controlled by the girl who is "The Lucifer." So the auto tune is meant to make them sound robotic.) So, in other words, the women or girl they are talking about is so desirable that she is like Lucifer and you have to use all your willpower just to resist her wiles. In the MV you see them trying to fight against her powers and resist her attempts to try to make them bend to her will, etc. That's why in the choreography you see all the robotic moves because they are showing how "Lucifer" is trying to control them like a robot -- for example, they put their wrists together like they are being handcuffed to show how she is trapping them. And they vibrate to show how they are being manipulated by "Lucifer" and they are trying to resist her powers, etc. (FYI: That vibration you saw them do is 100% them actually shaking like that, there aren't any camera tricks. If you pay attention when they perform Lucifer live, you will see them do that exact same thing. :D)
LOL we have no idea why they had to be dancing in front of a sports car, but that was kind of an iconic thing that Kpop companies did back then in a lot of their MVs, The group would dance around a fancy car to showoff their coolness and to give the video a more futuristic, expensive looking aesthetic.

"Lucifer" is actually know as one of the most difficult songs and dances to cover because of its tutting and popping and for the fact that it has a very fast paced beat with dance moves that are very sharp and precise which are designed to hit every beat of the song. And the song itself is very complicated with the songs wide range of notes and flow. Many amateurs have thought "Lucifer" looks like one of SHINee's more simple songs and dances. But the minute they try to sing the song and/or dance the choreography, they soon discover that it is way more complicated then they thought. Check out this clip of SHINee teaching a group of actors and comedians "Lucifer" as part of a challenge on the variety show "Invincible Baseball Team." Its funny because when they came to meet SHINee to start the practice, Jonghyun asked them why they chose this song of all songs, and they said because it looks manly and they thought it was fairly easy to cover. But the first thing Jonghyun said to them, while laughing, was "oh no, actually its one of our more difficult choreography and it took us extra time to really perfect it." :D

But once you get to know him, you can never mistake those Michael Jackson-like moves. There is just something about the way Taemin moves that is effortless and unlike anyone else. You need to check out some of Taemin's solo work, as well as a lot more of SHINee's songs and MVs. I think the whole group will start to impress you the more you experience of them. Yes, Taemin is the senior most member of SuperM. He is the one with the most seniority in the group. But he is not the oldest. As the leader Baekhyun is 27 and Mark is the youngest at 20. Taemin is currently only 26 years old, but he debuted 4-10 years before any of the other members of SuperM. Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 when he was 14 years old, so he is a super senior member of the group. So, as part of the hierarchy of respect, Taemin is the one everyone looks up to. Which is rightfully so, because Taemin has earned the reputation as one of the TOP dancers and solo performers in the industry, as well as a member of one of the best Kpop groups, SHINee. Which, might be why Taemin was chosen to play such a major role within SuperM, and why we have seen him prominently featured in almost everything to do with SuperM.

"Lucifer" may not be your favorite song now, but just wait. I think it will grow on you. After listening to it more, I think you might eventually find yourself drawn to it. Like Lucifer, you might find that the song starts to worm its way into your subconscious, and it gets you bobbing your head when you least expect it. Its called the Lucifer effect. LOL Now that you have heard the song, you will probably start hearing it all over the place. Its one of those songs that is used everywhere and it's kind of a SHINee theme song. It was even used on the U.S. Netflix TV show called "Lucifer."

The long-haired baby-chic is Taemin and yes sir he is from SHINee since 2008, "Asia's Michael Jackson"...almost 12 years in the industry but still outshines other newer group,they are called "Princes of Kpop" but they are "King's" in Japan, Japanese even call them "Asia's Beatles" since only SHINee and Beatles influences them that much on their music,...SHINee is also known as one of those best vocals and best live performances...they really are living legend when it comes to kpop...hoping to see more of them on your reaction videos...thank you 😊😊😊

I think you cant recognize taemin bcuz of the long hair. Yes Taemin is the long hair with the red pant. You should watch more of SHINee music videos. If u watch SHINee sherlock 2012 mv he has long hair their too. If you love harmonies with no autotune i request u to react to 1of1 or married to the music SHINee MV.

Every time I watch or listen to an old SHINee song it’s like a jump back in time when oppa bling Jongie (Jonghyun) was alive it brings tears of sadness & enjoy because I miss his smile and powerful voice but when I listen & watch to the present SHINee I know and see Jonghyun presence still alive within his brothers and group which makes me happy but still tear up at times. Jonghyun along with the groups web segments that theyve done always make me crack up to tears 😂. When this title track came out there was allot of religious theories about it because of the word being used but it’s not that at all. *Reading between lines* it’s more about a relationship that the guy can’t seem to get away from because the girl is so evilly addictive (like lucifer) because in reality kpop artists can’t be in relationships with anyone without fans getting extremely jealous and Kmedias doing everything they can to get a story whether it’s true or not. Later, the album was repackaged as “HELLO” in October 2010.
Hopefully they do a comeback before a Taemin has to do his military service!
V3actions yea we Shawols are praying for it too, Taemin is 26 years old (internationally) and 28 yrs old (korean age) i’m guessing he has at least 1 - 2 years before it’s his time to enlist. I’ve always been terrible at math!

All the members did solo work except for Minho. Jonghyun and Taemin (my bias💙🤩) have done the most. I already commented on NCT 127 “Regular” mv that you should check out Taemin’s work & listed songs & provided the links.
Key released an album just before enlisting because he wanted to give music to the fans. Check out “I Wanna Be”, “One of Those Nights”, great dancing, beat & songs.
Onew’s “Blue” is a haunting mv with lots of symbolisms & such beautiful vocals. It’s about a time when Onew was going through some difficulties (celebrating a friends birthday at a club, was drunk, lost his footing & by accident he grabbed/touched a woman’s leg, sued for sexual assault, he was put through the wringer by media & fans, he locked himself at home for a long time) while and how people turned their backs and others were vicious in attacks but what got him through were friends, family and true fans.
