    Good job! Now I just need to take my laptop down to the shop and watch 43 more times while I finish out my swing! Thanks!

    Make 2minute video , gets 150k views, walks away never to return. Total alpha. But I wanted to know how you tied it to a high branch.

    Tie the overhand knot first, then feed through the board. You want the rope in the tree first, this makes that possible. Makes it much easier to level the board if you’re using two separate ropes.

    Hi can I ask how much feet of rope you have for one swing on each side ?

  • @Suitednzooted11
    @Suitednzooted11 Před rokem +1

    You could do this much better with a simple bowline. No need for the overhand knot or the movable tautline hitch, just make a bowline with the loop part through your swing.

  • @EllieHeard
    @EllieHeard Před 3 lety +3

    But then what do you do on the other side since you don't have the end of the rope on the other side?

    • @fernwayhome
      @fernwayhome  Před 3 lety +1

      You repeat the process on the other side! The ropes are separate from one another! For the entire tutorial, visit here fernwayhome.com/?p=531. Hope this helps!
