GER disused railway walk Norfolk, Reepham to Themelthorpe Curve

  • A spur of the moment disused railway walk along the former Great Eastern Railway route from Reepham Station to the 1960 Themelthorpe Curve introduced in 1960 by British Rail to join up with the former M&GN Norwich City branch.....what will we find??

    Ahh now then you were in my backyard as it were! I regularly take my dogs on this route but tend to start at Whitwell Station (cracking place for a cuppa and cake) and either go around to Reepham or head to Lenwade. From Lenwade to Atelbridge there are a lot of "finds", even the remains of a hut, telephone box, old stations and original rail still embedded yes its a fascinating walk for sure! Regards
