I know a guy that won thousands in tournaments on them $1 buzzbaits on my home lake throwing them around cypress trees 10-15 years ago. He was getting bites from the hottest part of summer to the coldest part of winter. We never knew his secret till he dropped a video on CZcams years later absolutely hammering them. As far as I know that pattern has never worked again since the lake has been drained a couple times.

Just a little pice of info for you the SK marking on the tag of the $1 spinner and buzz baits stands for strike king.... they are strike king brand

I did this the other day for some other kind of bait. I forget what it was but it was a Walmart bait, $4 I cut it to exactly what I needed. More people should experiment with this because we all live in different areas with different fish

Those beads are super cheap too. You can get a bunch of them in any size you want for just a few bucks at any tackle craft store.

do have a video o rig setup? ive never used them because nothing comes with instructions nowadays, i dont know how to use strange items that i know catch. cant figure those items out tho as far as hook & line set ups😢
