YES YES YES! Loving it! Still remember when i first heard this song back in the mid2000s... kooks, killer, arctic monkeys, franz ferdinand,libertines... ahh.. yes i am old ;) haha

Keuning is the master but I also really like how the killers current touring guitarist ted sablay plays it. his version is much more in your face live rock while dave always played it with a more nuanced indie rock feel. ive seen each live and theyre both great
It's ironic you say that cause keuning is heavily influenced by Angus Young and Brian May from the queens which are more bare minimum rock. He talks about it awhile back in an interview were he was trying to sound more than a guitarist and actually help the song rather then him being the cliche guitarist, which is why I think he's tone and sound is very subdue in the band's all around sound..
You sound spot on. I’m interested to ask,
What takes the most time:
1) learning all the guitar parts and playing them perfect?
2) dialing in the right tone after researching all the pedals and effects?
3) production, mixing and video editing?

Nice playing.... it's a brutal track playing this live and standing up, especially if the drummer speeds up...my hands normally drop off after an hour and then this song

I don't think killers count as indie. They had a label at the time of this songs production (island records aka Universal Music group AKA the devil). Id say this is more of just post emo/punk/alt rock but that's such a minor gripe that takes nothing away from your excellent playthrough here. Great cover, Great tone, fuckin gorgeous gibson.
