Love your content! We recently lived through a home rebuild after a fire in 2021. We just moved back into our home, which is still a work in progress, but wanted to let you know I absolutely relate to not seeing progress on your home! We had about 6 months of ZERO progress on our rebuild and I thought it was never going to be done. Just breathe and take one day at a time. What you’ve shown, so far, is beautiful. I am so envious of your Target and Hobby Lobby. They always look so quiet and well supplied. Disadvantage of living in a large metro area is stores are always very busy and items bought out. Plus we don't have a Menards or Aldis which I wish we did.

We just renovated our entire house. We bought all of our lightbulbs on Amazon because I can buy a big box of them and get the exact day lights that we wanted and handles were on Amazon to because we could get multiple boxes of them and yes it’s so hard to keep up with how many you need for each for the kitchen and each bathroom and I totally understand but in the long run it’s so much fun!!

Having built three homes…check daily to avoid costly mistakes and order more cabinet pulls than you need…you will be glad down the road when one breaks or you add something that requires some. Can’t wait to see the finished home!! ❤

I'm not a fan of Mondays.....going into your business when you know the hours will be long as well as the week, well, yeah, not a fan! LOL Now if there would be some peace and quiet, but it's usually the exact opposite! Tee at least you will be settled into your own space! I'm hoping it will be soon! The weather has been great for all of us in the Midwest....uncanny how warm it's been! I hope it holds out for when you actually can move into your home! Take heart Crystal. At this point, it is what it is and it will be done when it gets done. Unfortunately, you don't have control through most of the process. But it really should be coming to Operation Moving Day pretty soon....maybe 4 weeks or so, I'm hoping!!!! 🤞❤

It's your house, so not like they can stop you from going there, as long of course you're not in their way. Lol. I know the frustration you feel when nothing is being done at the new house and not know when they will be back. Charlie is so adorable!!

My house came with 4 fan lights.......the bedroom fans came with a remote and I so prefer that!!!Opening boxes made so much easier with THE SLICE!OMG as a retired teacher I see Mom helped with the valentine boxes.Personally I loved the one that came in obviously done all by themselves.

The kids Valentines boxes turned out so cute! A clip board or a small spiral notebook works great for keeping up with new build or remodeling information. I have a small divided spiral Notebook for our remodel and it is working out great, I keep counts, measurements and so forth in it and just tuck it in my purse to have when I’m out and about gathering supplies. Also any notes I need to discuss with my contractors. Sending much love from Tennessee ❤

It won't be long now for you Crystal!! The house is coming along nicely. We are getting a little warmer here in the middle of Nebraska. We probably have similar weather to South Dakota. Some of our grandchildren took a quick trip to MN and were able to go ice fishing. Seeing your lake reminded me of their trip. We have a Menards but not a Target in our town. Looking forward to more progress on your home. I bet you can't wait!! I think all the choices that need to be made when building a home would be overwhelming. You seem to handle it so well!! Just remember it isn't a race . Once you are in your new home you will actually be able to see what will go together on your cabinets better to wait and see then later down the road regret the decision made. So exciting your house is almost finished! I know you don’t get to Costco much but we get our lightbulbs there and they are very inexpensive and we can get big packs that last awhile. Love all of your videos Crystal!
Have they replaced all incandescent bulbs with LEDs? I prefer the warm light of incandescents, but a couple store owners and an electrician have told me they've been outlawed (?). I believe LEDs are an unnatural light and for me personally they trigger migraines.
