What should have been an effective two headed monster was cut short due to there only being 1 ball and 1 guy better at running it. Blount may have gotten a ring that year but he may have been able to help the Steelers after Bell's injury. Nearly ten years later, it is what it is and these memories are a blast to relive.

I was at this game! The only game I've ever been to. Was glad they got the win and was great to see 100-yard rushing performances from both Bell and Blount. Go STEELERS!!!!

Injuries in crucial times. Aside from that, the defense is so much worse than I remembered. Zach Mettenberger was ripping that secondary a new one

Defense was not good at that time. It was rebuilding. It's been awhile since both sides of the ball were top 10 units
Our secondary was terrible our defense was terrible altogether. Our offense carried us in so many games. You can’t win championships that way

Bellichick was playing chess while the Steelers were playing checkers again....Blount started the season with the Steelers ending the season with the patriots playing for another ring ....I wonder what secrets of the offensive play book he brought with him ......even last year we aquire a special teams player from the patriots and that player had pretty much the game deciding turnover towards the end of the game
Wish we put Blount on the damn field bruh. That cost us against the ravens in the playoffs later that year.
Tomlin was a jackass that yr. Instead of giving bell a break now and again, he ran the wheels off till he was injured, never played Blount much, then we roll into the post season without a rb. Blount goes to ne, and because we had no rb and ne did, ne won the sb.
