- Have you ever thought about visiting Black Mountains Cycle Centre, near Abergavenny in Wales, but thought you didn't have the skills to pull it off? Well, you're wrong. I spent an afternoon sessioning only the blue trails and it was awesome.

I'm afraid my near miss was just an excuse for a dramatic Dempsey & Makepeace roll down the trail. Should have just pumped into the turn. Instead I put the brakes on. Still, every day's a school day.

Awesome vid. Love your style of commentary. I haven't been to BMCC for years when it was just tight singletrack through the trees. Looks like loads of work done and much wider flow to the trails now 👌

I went a couple of months ago for the first time. Did it after BPW and I think BM is absolutely brilliant. Like you we stuck to the blues and tried a red (can't remember it's name, but started two over from rabbit run) at the end. We were having such fun on the blues that we were not bothered about the others. Absolutely mint place.

Nice one, I've never been to any of the wales bike parks and we finally bit the bullet and planned on going a few weeks ago ( we watched some of your other vids and thought hey its rideable 👍) covid isolation had other plans for us and we had to cancel 🙄. Keep on informing us of the trails 👍

Do you have to use the uplift here, or can you ride up on an ebike?
Hi Dan. No, you don't have to use the uplift. BMCC offer a "Push Up & Ride Pass" for ebikes. Currently they are £18 for the day.
