Thank you for the deep review! :D
You're welcome! Thanks for sending out the Tripod! :)
Hi Shane, wanted to ask if you fully tighten the pan or tilt lock screws, is the videohead securely locked in or does it still pan or tilt if you try to force it to move?
Hi Ben. It locks in really well but if you forced it really hard it does move. It won't move much unless you were really pushing on it hard. The other one I talked about (F38) - has a non-video head you can lock in a lot more.
I was talking about the actual video head in my prior reply. The part that sits into the base locks in great, and I can't get that to move at all. (the silver clip at the front that sits horizontally)
Have u tried the coman zero? Which one is better?
The Zero is better build quality, but both have fine for what I do in regular shooting scenarios.
Is this the best compact video tripod? Like the peak design for photography.
My Ulanzi video go tripod broke on first use. It's made of the most terrible materials.
Did you return it? Mines been hammered the last few weeks and it's been working great.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy they are not very responsive. I'm still stuck with a broken tripod and no refund. I emailed Ulanzi directly and the seller and nothing.
Dumb question.......but is this compatible with osmo pocket 3??
If there's a tripod mount at the base of the unit yes. They keep the mounting points the same. I don't have an osmo pocket 3 yet, but just check the manual or see if there's a tripod hole.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy grateful thank you!
I just got the Video Go tripod and it was a terrible mistake.
Middle column got stuck on first full extension with a small piece of plastic falling out, and then when I tried to open the legs for access to the column one of them SNAPPED CLEAN OFF with no force applied. I don't know what it's made of but that's NOT ~$250 worth of materials.
On paper it's near perfect. In reality absolutely terrible QC.
My Peak Design tripod may have cost more and doesn't have the f38 system, but it's been through hell and not a scratch!
It also feels wayyyyy more robust in the hand just handling it.
That's not good. Send it back for a refund/swap. Mine has been going strong, sorry to hear that. If it was crap or damaged I would have mentioned it in the video, but it's been great so far.
There's no need to shoot your closeups so shallow. Stop down a bit and let the viewer actually see what youre talking about.
are you bored? don't have any other smart note to say?
@@GalZiv Wasn't bored at all until I read your comment.
ye I can see, otherwise you wouldn't reply 😜@@aldolega
