- The 1991 Philadelphia Eagles fielded one of the NFL's greatest defenses ever. Yet they went into the 1992 season without their All Pro DT Jerome Brown (The [[_]]) who passed away in June. His teammates dedicated their '92 season in his honor. dont own the rights to this video
Going into the 1992 season the Eagles were my pick to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, and after their 4-0 start it looked like it was going to happen. But then they just fell apart. They recovered to make the playoffs but we're crushed by the eventual Super Bowl Champion Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round.

Not even an Eagle fan (Giant fan), but IMO, Seth Joyner is greatest defensive player in Eagles history.

Awesome video. I'll never forget they had jerome Browns "star for a day" kids camp I went to when I was 12. It was sponsored by ProSet trading cards and I have an awesome shirt with autographs from reggie, calvin williams, fred barnett, vai sikahema, andy harmon, seth joyner, clyde simmons etc. It's one of my most prized possessions!

When you haven't won a playoff game in a dozen years you take what you can get. They were dealing with the loss of Jerome Brown and the defection of Keith Jackson to the Dolphins. This team peaked after week 4 and never seemed to get back on track.

NFL Films does that with every team like a season yearbook. They can make a 3-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season look like they were a few bounces and bad breaks from an 11 win Division Champion.
