The horns, the voices, the guitars, the drums, how beautiful. I beg to differ as I still listen to Chicago that there will ever be a group like them that is going to be remembered 50 years from now....Terry Kath is still remembered!!!!!! Loved that man!! Thanks for the video, made me cry 😢
Peter Cetera became a 80's pop cliche, so people need to see this to hear him not only sing, but play, his heart out. Listen to his bass lines as he sings lead - he is so talented.
Here and at this time, Chicago is in full splendor - Pankow's original and melodic composition from the sixth album (fifth studio), an impressive arrangement, and the vocals are Christomatic, have become a trademark for the band, Laudir Oliveira is charismatic, and brass is secrecy accurate and magnetic. This is Chicago!
When the live version sounds better than the recorded one, that is pure talent. I would have loved to see the original seven in concert. Those that have, I envy you. :)
I agree! I just love the wah-wah in this song! Terry and all the guys still look so young and healthy here. It makes me want to cry to know what was coming ahead for Terry and the band.
I absolutely love this, I grew up listening to Chicago. My brother had a 8 piece horn band and was the lead singer but Chicago was one of the staple covers they performed. I've had the pleasure of seeing the remaining original members perform live in concert and they never disappoint!!
Peter is just so cute and has always portrayed such a "clean image." Not to mention his singing and bass playing. These guys are all excellent musicians, but the lead singer really stands out and Peter has it all and still does today.
Saw them in concert in the late 80's. Had a seat 6 rows back from the stage and on this song those horns damn near blew me over. I couldn't only hear them, I could FEEL them!

Glad to have been a kid in the 70's and heard this music on the radio. One of my favorite tunes and favorite bands Finally got to see them last year. Would have been great with Peter Cetera but that's the old days. Got the Greatest Hits CD and its always playing in the car. "Call On Me", another favorite.

Anthony Saponaro wow! I thought that that was him, footage of him seems so rare, but when I heard those unmistakable riffs,I knew that it was him,the only person that Hendrix said played better than him... GODSPEED brethren \m/
Like so many of their 70's-era Chicago cuts, this song is so well crafted! Great multi-part harmony, and the way they hold the note at "and everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" is locked in TIGHT! Even Peter is harmonizing by himself in the Coda on "You are my love and my life".
Filmed at the Guercio's Caribou Ranch in the Colorado Rockies...the property changed ownership, again, a few years ago...Walt Parazaider is a legend in this...

Cetera was a crybaby, not only was his ego too big, but he wanted to get rid of the horn section. Chicago died with Terry Kath!
@@tonya6107 Did you hear that from a reputable source or just the one-sided horn section crew? There are two sides to every story.
I heard it from a Cetera in an interview!
@@CharlieRicker24 The drummer, Danny, was fired because he was hired just to be a drummer & give no feedback to the band!
@@tonya6107 Yes, I know.
I always liked the sound of the horns. to me that's why this group stood on during the early 70's. they had their own unique style
