Peter Cetera became a 80's pop cliche, so people need to see this to hear him not only sing, but play, his heart out. Listen to his bass lines as he sings lead - he is so talented.

Here and at this time, Chicago is in full splendor - Pankow's original and melodic composition from the sixth album (fifth studio), an impressive arrangement, and the vocals are Christomatic, have become a trademark for the band, Laudir Oliveira is charismatic, and brass is secrecy accurate and magnetic. This is Chicago!

Their debut came out when I was born in the summer of Love in ‘67,dig?
I vividly recall when that beautiful song originally came out,all of their songs always felt like a lovely summer day, when everything went right, even if it wasn’t and it didn’t,there was still a ray of hope in the music,indeed...
I remember having an am transistor radio 📻 I’d pull it up as close 2 my ear as possible, getting lost in the sweet refrain,aah...
I hated that 1 earplug that was out then, but I guess that they were looking out 4U,since if both ears were plugged, you wouldn’t be cognizant of yer immediate surroundings, unlike now, where nobody seems 2 care,OY VEY!

I've found several video's of this particular concert here on YT, and I'm thinking, and right now it's only thinking about putting them together in a playlist.....

No, Pankow's biggest composition was "Ballet For a Girl In Buchannon", which included "Make Me Smile" and "Colour My World" from Chicago II.

The flashback geeez lol. I remember the shag hair styles on us guys the elephant bell bottoms and platform shoes and lava lamps and how about the old water beds .... Plus tons more of things back in those days. No cell phones ? No computers and life then even as technology was in the beginning of its start in the electronics ....

Chicago started in the late 1960s as Chicago Transit Authority. I think their first hit was Questions 67 and 68. :-)
