I have also read on a 3M tech sheet somewhere that 08115 panel bond can be used on plastic without adhesion promoter. It also has a very long work time for hot climates.

This is a fantastic video, before applying the adhesion promoter and after sanding the back side, is it really ok to only use compressed air? I planned on using isopropyl alcohol to ensure all the debris is out of the sanding scratches

As far as we know the material is fast drying. So how to store the cartridge after used for next repair?

Hello -- To ensure its consistency and effectiveness keep the product in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Also, ensure the Mixer Nozzle tip is used to seal the cartridge. To know more, please refer s.3m.com/3jwup1r8

With the time to repair and the cost of all three products is cheaper to buy a aftermarket bumper 😅😅😅

Even a Cadillac/Mercedes etc.. bumper?... Not to mention back order?. Sometimes time essence comes into play

Possibly, however consider possibly having to blend into adjacent panels on some colors if replacing. If the damage is in the center of the cover, you can save the OEM color on the ends and not have to blend into adjacent panels. Nothing worse than seeing a car on the street where the bumper cover and the quarter panel don’t match perfectly. Not to mention, most aftermarket covers don’t fit well and the gaps may look poor. Also the materials aren’t expensive if you can repair 4-6 bumpers with one cartridge of adhesive. If you’re buying the materials to repair one bumper, then it may not make sense. All situations are different.
