- How to fix Mercedes C 300 W205, Windshield wiper fluid is not coming out when you press the button only the wiper work but no water comes out.
It’s a very easy fix. I can show you how you can fix this and save over $300 within 15 minutes.

The technician at the garage had already told me the pump had gone bad....I watched the video, made him watch the video and there you are, it worked.. If anything he should have paid me for the training :)

Brilliant. Saved me big dollars at my local Benz dealership. Done in 30 minutes including getting the 8mm socket and ratchet to loosen the 2 bolts under the chin spoiler on my GLA

This happened to my Benz I think the place that sold me it used an off brand fluid (only suppose to be Mercedes brand or the pump filter crystalizes like that and clogs faster) I’m going to try this out!! Thank you so much 💖

Thanks 🙏🏼 unfortunately I had heated washers and I broke the pipe that connects the heating element to the pump when I was popping the pump out.
After looking and finding you cannot get the heating element without purchasing a whole new washer jet unit and have to remove the wing to wing to fit it. I found that you can just unplug the heating element and remove the pipe from the top of it. There are 2 wires inside the pipe that heat the fluid as it travels up the pipe, just snap them and connect the pipe straight to the pump with a cable tie. Now you do not have heated washers but it works with no warning lights.
I am sorry about the pipe. Thanks for providing the detailed explanation of the process, I am sure it’s helps the one who have heated pump.

Try it might work maybe the gunks stuck one side of the line and once you clean it might work.
It wil take you least the 15 minutes to do all that.

Salaam. Did you remove the the clips from the bottom of the cover. Or just the 2 clips by wheel Arch?
Just 2 clips by the wheel arch and it give you enough space to work on it.

Yes you can use the flat head screwdriver to pull out a little and the use your hand or pliers what ever is easy for you.

Mercedes dealer didn’t tell me that. I made a service appointment and got a call back saying it was fine. They didn’t think that most cars you do not have to basically push the button twice

Could you hear the pump working but no fluid was coming out? I can't hear mine working at all.
Then it might need a pump. You can still clean the filter and try, it will not take more the 10 minutes if it’s work you don’t need pump if it don’t than you might need new pump.
I hope it works.
What was the result mate cause I’ve got the same issue with mine. It makes no noise but I’m hoping to try it and see if it resolves the issue
I think mine is the pump has gone out. Fuse is good. But it's been too cold of late to get in and pull things apart. Maybe this weekend. @@Riyadhriyadh_hotmailcouk

On my E550, it's in the box in the engine bay, drivers side (Left hand drive car) close to the firewall. #13 fuse position, 7.5 amp@@Riyadhriyadh_hotmailcouk
