Afternoon Tea at The Barnsdale near Oakham and Rutland Water

We love an afternoon tea and this year we've challenged ourselves to try new places in and around Rutland to see how good their teas can be!
First up is our afternoon tea at The Barnsdale (formerly Barnsdale Lodge), which is just a few minutes drive from our home town of Oakham, and is very close to Rutland Water - the Barnsdale entrance and car park is closest, but as it's across a busy main road we recommend driving up to The Barnsdale's own car park, even if you are visiting Rutland Water.
