Well some people when their arguing don’t listen to a single word the other person is saying. They might say the words back but its on autopilot. Sorta like how some youtubers read like the rules or something outloud then say they don’t know something.
The best way to counter this is just ask “what did I (just) say.” () part isn’t needed. And either they will ignore the queston completely and keep arguing which at that point you can disregard them as a narcissist or it will bring them to their senses. Usually instanously but sometimes if their dumb It takes a bit longer.

And even if he can't see doesn't mean a thing as he could just close his eyes and not stare. Simple as that he's blind so it wouldn't make a difference in the first place. Unless he is legally blind which is different as you can see it's just really fucked up. That's different as my mom is legally blind but after a surgery and heavy prescription glasses she can see fine. So yeah
