- This weeks Tactical Battle Report is a fight between two channel debutants. It's a battle between the prey eating Farstalker Kinband Kroot and the beginner friendly Strike Force Justian.

In this mission its a critical operations misson pack with loot. We are playing on the Octarius terrain today, mainly becuase I love how it looks!

Great batrep! With the kroot I think you might get mileage out of "Vengeance for the kinband", especially against elites that you can pile a couple of shots in to remove.
This is defintley one I overlooked. Could have come up huge as I was piling on the shots! Thanks for the tip.

I'm getting into kill team because getting a whole ass 40k army is a bit too much for me right now and kill team looks fun, until now i've really only been interested in painting.
What would you say is the most fun to paint kill team?
I dont mind about the rules or if they are meta, as I get most of my enjoyment out of painting.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you! The most recent team that I really enjoyed painting was the Fellgor Ravagers aka The Chaos Beastmen. They are fun to paint as they are really detailed models, have heaps of different ways to paint each of their pelts. If you want more traditonal style painting, I really liked the Voidscarred Corsiars, they are just cool! Is this some official terrain set up? Seems like a total killing ground with a light-cover-only middle surrounded by vantage points easily accessible from drop zones (which also offer a nasty, unblockable alpha strike on light cover in the Kroot drop zone). It's like the total opposite of what suggested terrain for KT is usually like.
It was a layout I found online! Seemed a bit too shooty, but made for some unique challneges

You got lucky don't screw it up. You know what I mean and how did you get her.
Recon with the Farstalkers and you put it beyond the half line? You can put it ON the half line. Your first activation with the dogs should have been to run up, pick it up using their ability + the free dash, throw it back 1" then repeat with the second dog!
Also, no Balance the Books tac ops? Boy you are making it much harder for your self...its free VP!
And not retaining the auto hit from call the kill? Call the Kill doesnt give you a reroll, it gives you an auto retained normal hit, ceaseless or P1 to all weapons.
Why is the heavy bolter only firing 4 shots? 5 is the official A characteristic.
TP4 how could brother Flavian, shot with his heavy rifle, and then moved (not dashed) to loot the objective?

Many people come here to see this kinda content and it seems nobody cares about showing them correct rules, but when I do, no chin bob haircuts like you come into my face saying "leave him alone".
