We had somewhat high expectations for the dining experience on this flight based on other reviews. I enjoyed the food overall but it wasn’t anything mind-blowing.
The seats are small compared to the other Business Class seats I’ve seen so far. However, we both were able to sleep longer than we anticipated.
The service was good - not great. Some flight attendants were definitely nicer than others but no one was rude.
It would be nice to experience Air France on a different aircraft in the future!

Too expensive for a 11 hour trip from SFO to Paris. I flight with AF every trip to Paris but the upper class do not worth the price. 11 hours is a short flight if you go often. Save money for a nice 5* hotel instead

Let's be honnest, Air France new business class is a complete disaster ! The thing is because the company doesn't always offer first class cabin anymore, they thought it would be much better to renovate the business class, adding some more seats, big mistake ! You dont feel confortable, the seat is too narrow, you may end up with a non view seat. Air France wanna make money. The more seats the better ain't an option with passengers who could afford first class seats. Either they rethink the all business package either it will be one of the worst long haul business class on the market

The cabin configuration (Optima) you are talking about is not the newest cabin configuration. 48J (new config) is a much better one introducing new seat layout with new business class and beautiful dark blue/ marine blue seats. The first row of the business class have an insane amout of space and legroom. The window seats are placed in a way so everyone get windows (not on the old cabin). The cabin config 48J is just an introduction to a new cabin configuration comming soon (december 2024) which will introduce new La Première first class seats.
