My Mother's side of the family lived in Truro (The nothing to do place). Grandmother eventually moved to Plymouth where she had my mother, who eventually married my Plymothian father. Geddon ya Janner. Cheers for taking us along. All the best buddy.

Lived in Truro most my adult life grew up and currently live in Falmouth which is the best town in Cornwall
Visit Rhyl in wales, go watch a league match and visit the bodfor whilst staying in literally any hotel
warrington is a town and you are right it is a rugby town but they do have a non league side who was televised game in the fa cup a few years back. the rugby league city you are on about is wakefield
Moved to Bodmin 10 years ago because I married. To be honest the whole of Cornwall only offers the coast. Nothing else. But even then the summer is screwed because of tourists.
God help you via Bodmin ! More active life in Chernobyl than Bodmin
You do these videos & say it’s quiet & things are closed but literally you’re in & out within an hour, most places in touristy locations don’t open until 10. 7:30am train, quickest train journey time is hour & 10 minutes, catching 9:30am train back, no wonder it’s quiet.

I was in Truro today as a local ish (Redruth local) and there really isn’t much to do, we have indeed won at Wembley and it was the vase in 2007, last season was mental travelling to Gloucester for home games and one of the craziest run ins to the end of the season ever seen, whilst battling relegation, shame we missed you today Pie but hope it wasn’t too bad a trip 🫡
Truro is the weird place?? I'm local and given it's sandwiched between Redruth/Camborne and St Austell I always consider Truro the most sane of the lot 😭😅

I live in Redruth. You are correct about Redruth and Camborne. I wouldn’t live in Truro house prices are crazy. Plus loads of druggies and fights at night. I feel 100% safer in Redruth at night.

I know this pie supports footy but if anyone can help as a rugby fan here in aus, why are there not many rugby league teams down south in the uk, got like st Helen’s, 2 hull teams, Leeds, Warrington
I can't give the exact reason as such, but for whatever reason Rugby League is almost exclusively played (at the top level anyway) in Yorkshire, Lancashire, and a few surrounding places. Rugby Union is the more popular of the codes in most of the country (though football far exceeds that as well.)
I might be completely wrong about this but I believe it stemmed from RL being seen in the early days as a working class game in the late 1800's, whereas RU was more popular with the middle and upper classes that tended to be situated more in the South. I've probably got something wrong there, but I'm sure it's something like that.

From St ives here, only ever go to truro to play yugioh now days, town always seems dead when I'm there as done the rest of the county :( also camborne and redruth nowdays seems alright when you compare it to penzance! Damn has it gone downhill there the past few years 😅
