Build Update: I did not have preferred instrument unlocked and it is better in the off hand slot than the hungerer. Currently using that in the build instead.

i’m not using vengeance because the heart of vengeance replaced with the windshear armor. because 20s is too much for me. and the core skills are rain of vengeance, knockback, impale & daring swing and the cooldown is awesome.
Sounds like that could be a good combo too. I do like rain of vengeance as well! Thanks for sharing

Been using this build. Working on getting the right gems for it. It’s been serving me quite well. I melt enemies. Which gems do you recommend for a PVE build?
berserkers, carsens, power and command, pain clasp if you can proc it, mothers lament, bottled hope, gloom cask, BSJ, bile, fervent fang.

My impale doesn’t work like that, I have to press it in order to work.. why is that?
You have to use the excavator main hand essence. Changes impale to work as a buff with your primary attacks.

Been playing since day 1. I’ve spent a little bit here and there as well 😁.
Its OK, I still feel like I do more damage with the explosive arrow build. Not having daring swing also slows you down a lot and also losing the ability to get yourself out of a sticky situation. I would consider swapping Puncta Obscura for Preferred Instrument for more damage. The use of Hungerer means this build would excel in taking down trains of mobs which would be good for challenge rifts but again, no daring swing as a dodge ability means you will be taking a lot more damage.
I actually didn’t have preferred unlocked I didn’t even realize it. Just got it a couple days ago and agree that is the better setup. I’ll pin a comment on that.
I haven’t felt the need for daring swing in PvE content. Definitely necessary for PvP though.
