Looking back on 2014, this track feels like the soundtrack to one of the best years of my life, so I wanted to make a little video summing up the year that was DRIVE and everything that inspired me when writing it.

Eight years on, and this track still amazes me and even gets me to tears sometimes, when I didn't hear it for a while. This track needs to be felt, not everyone feels it, but anyone who does: enjoy that amazing feeling! Especially half way the song gets amazing, when the beat really drops.

I have discovered this song only recently. I was in a week long business trip in Asia and I was in a United flight from Tokyo to LAX which was the last leg of my flight. I was so exhausted from the trip and trying to force myself to fall asleep for the 10 hour long flight. I closed my eyes and put my seat back and turned on one of the on board radio station as soon as we got in the air. The first song came out was this song. It instantly gave me goosebumps and woke me up. I was just so happy to coming home to my family.

Reminds me of the once in a lifetime adventure of taking a road trip six months after college, leaving hometown and parents, driving highways and rural byways through Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado seeking work, freedom, healing here in Denver.
