Great, well executed video. The timely zoom-ins with high quality focus were very helpful, and I appreciate you show what tools you use and you explain everything succinctly. It's the little things.

Great video. I followed along until you grabbed a screwdriver for reassembly. My multi bit driver was too big to push the follower down so I used a No 2 wooden pencil. Perfect fit and easy to grip.

Nicely done. I have a 1987 production model and am scared of trying to find another mag. Some flat out say their wider base will not recess into the handle as does the original. I've looked at other "OEM" and can't tell what the base looks like. My parts book shows the components, but not the p/n for the whole mag. I guess now I can buy the pieces and make my own. Thanks!

Do you know if you can tune the magazine just like you do on Ruger Mark 3 magazines.

Great video! Have you ever seen any rust inside or have any tips to deal with that? I got a few new mags recently and they all have internal rust spots but the exterior is fine. Any ideas?

A little late, but I've had great results with fine steel wool and soapy water against surface rust. Just the regular stuff that's available in most grocery stores. Just dont forget to clean it thoroughly and oil it afterwards. It may polish up the finish a little bit, but it won't remove the finish.
