Aside from the Mercury retrograde, this one is the only other one that caught my eye from huda (in terms of the bigger palettes) so I bought it. The jelly Petri dish is honestly really pretty for an glossy eye (so you can talk to me lol) and the colours are so fitting and work together so cohesively, obsessed. I was almost about to get the big Petri dish but girl when am I gonna use that up
yes!! agreed 100% first eyeshadow palette to excite me in a while. i grabbed it after buying the mercury retrograde about 6 months ago. do not regret buying either and obsessed with them together even more. i love the petri dish shade, and im LIVING for the shade empowered.
I love my mercury retrograde palette. Like you, this is the only larger Huda palette that’s interested me. It has one of my favorite matte formulas in my collection. I want the rose quartz so badly but I need to resist!
I think the love stone shade is soo cool. The little pieces look like stones suspended in clear substance. Kind of like stones that people display. Honestly idk if i would ever use it on my eyes, some people use it as an eye shadow base or a glossy eye, but I’ll just stare at its dimension from afar. The rest of the shades are freaking incredible, can’t wait to have it!!

I think the glossy shade is very interesting and intriguing. It’s so different and gives some creativity without doing a glitter that gets everywhere. If you don’t end up liking it, then it’s just one shade and it’s not a big loss but if you do, then it really makes it stand out from other palettes. I like that she has leaned into it. I like a super dewy, no makeup makeup look pretty often which is when I have dug into the one in the naughty palette or other jelly type shadows I have, like the jelly much shadows from colourpop
I use the gloss shade just by itself with a light layer of mascara for "no-makeup" makeup days. I know you said that its not really your thing, but I am telling you, don't knock it til you try it. It can look really effortless and beautiful. (I also normally do a glowy base with it, like cream blush/bronzer and a tinted lip gloss)
I just got this palette yesterday, and I have used the glossy "shadow". From what I have gathered, it is pretty much unusable anywhere near the crease or directly along the lashline. It certainly will crease and act weird in those places.. On the lashline, it makes your mascara smudge onto it and kind of like, breaks it down a little? However! If you tap a little bit on your very inner corner and then tap on a highlighting shade on top of it, it rocks. It's dope for that. It very much intensifies whatever you put on top of it like a sticky /glitter primer. That's pretty much it. I don't mind having it in the palette honestly, because I do like amping up the inner corner. I haven't used liner with this yet, but I imagine it would interact similarly to how it does with mascara..
The shade Energized is mind blowing O.O it's like so intense and bright that it almost doesn't seem like it should be makeup lol. In Mercury Retrograde, there is a shade that is similar in color and also very intense and gorgeous. It's in the same spot as RQ too.. Called "Galaxy". That formula is the type to have me pushing my other palettes to the side like, "I don't want to play with you anymore..."

I moved too and we can't unpack yet since the furniture hasn't arrived yet so I get that "all my stuff is in boxes" anxiety. Hang in there! I try to tell myself that in a month or so everything will be fine and unpacked and normality will be restored.

Bought this palette full price and I waited about a year to get it… I get the ickiness for the goopy shadow, but I used it as a minimal look with only mascara and light eyeliner & no other makeup and turned out nice! I can imagine it’d look great applying it lightly anywhere… I’m overall very happy with it! And get lots of compliments.
I'm shocked you picked this up but I shouldn't have been with all the gorgeous duochromes. I would have loved to see how they compare to the similar shades in your collection--especially the indie shadows. That could almost be another video in itself. Like a battle of the blue/brown duochromes. With Clionadh's restock and expansion coming and the vib sale, I would love to get some extra help to decide where to spend my money on shifty shiny glimmery goodness.

I absolutely love this palette!!! I got it delivered today super early this morning so I was excited and couldn't wait to 8se it to do my eye makeup today before work! It truly is such a beautiful palette! I really love mercury retrograde but this one might beat it lol even with the balmy shade lol I swatched it and this one actually has a lot more color and shine to it then the first slippery shade.... I've seen a few folks use the petri dish gloss as a cream highlighter on the face, actually! I don't know if it stays sticky or if this one has too much base pigment, but I know some got away with it on the OG palette. EDIT: OK, now that I watched the swatches, if it was used on the face I guess it'd be more of like a glossy blush topper on the high point of the cheekbones, since it's pretty sheer but still visibly pink.
Hi Lauren! For a long time I didn’t know how to use the jelly shades in these palettes. I also steered away from the shimmers/duochromes because I had a hard time getting them to stick to my eyelids (my eyelids are fussy 🙄) one day it clicked that maybe I should put down the jelly shade first and the shimmers laid down nicely! That’s my only use for them. I find that I enjoy these huda palettes more now that I incorporate the weird jelly stuff!

Great ways to use the gloss say that I discovered is to use it as a base apply it on the land and use the holographic and Shimmer shave on top and it gives an awesome shimmering shine try it and let me know how you like the idea I love it and I love how the color show up differently on your type of skin the colors are so even pretty especially the pink hope you like the info
Lauren I hope you get to film a video doing similar shades for all the sparkly ones on the palette! I'm religiously waiting for it haha I don't want to buy the whle palette because I'm not as interested in the mattes, but the special shadows were something else!
I only bought 1 huge palette (retrograde) and I was not happy... I guess it's also personal preference. But since then I decided not to buy huda eyeshadow anymore, because they really don't work on me. Especially the shimmers, either it's flaky or it has no adherence on my eyes. That being said so happy to see your video!!!
I love this palette. I like the lighter and cooler toned colors. If it had a matte grey it would be perfect for me. And maybe a brow bone color. However, I am going to try to dupe the vibe with my singles first before I buy it. I learned that from this channel. :-) I would be interested to see what you have that dupes it, too.
Use your flash on your phone for Love Stone and you’ll fall in love with it. MOST of these shades react completely differently in direct light, you gotta show them in that lighting to do this palette justice… wish I could afford it!
Oh no, I REALLY really want this palette. I hope they have a Black Friday deal on their site so I can grab this, the Glowish bronzer, and maybe one more goodie. Huda is doing a good job this year, I think.
Could I ask how it lasted? Glitter glue is so fiddly, I was intrigued by you using it as a primer. I just worry that it might crease on me. Btw this packaging is the most beautiful palette I've ever seen, I have never bought a Huda palette but I'm buying this!

This is kind of in the same vein as the Glamlite Chocolate Martini palette. Neutral palettes that lean a bit pink or purple are just gorgeous! I'm definitely here for this latest trend. Sophisticated but still fun and versatile!

I CANNOT WAIT to get this palette, i haven't been this bowled over by and excited for a palette in a loooong time! (The last one to do this to me was ABH Amrezy, which I'm still obsessed with) but this palette is just SPECIAL.
I will probably end up getting this palette when it goes on sale at some point, but can't justify getting it until then as I have both Mercury Retrograde and Naughty Nudes and I think bar a few shades, basically every colour in those palettes can be found in Rose Quartz. That being said, I still really like this palette because the shimmers look soooo nice and I feel like I've become somewhat of a Huda collector. But also I'm hoping she finally ventures outside of the pink hued rut she's in with these bigger palettes. Like an earthy, w/a pop of colour full-size palette would be so cool.

I used the glossy shade as my highlighter and it was amazing. I don’t find it sticky on myself personally but I like a wet balm highlighter.

Great ways to use the gloss say that I discovered is to use it as a base apply it on the land and use the holographic and Shimmer shave on top and it gives an awesome shimmering shine try it and let me know how you like the idea I love it and I love how the color show up differently on your type of skin the colors are so even pretty especially the pink hope you like the info
Lauren I hope you get to film a video doing similar shades for all the sparkly ones on the palette! I'm religiously waiting for it haha I don't want to buy the whle palette because I'm not as interested in the mattes, but the special shadows were something else!

I only bought 1 huge palette (retrograde) and I was not happy... I guess it's also personal preference. But since then I decided not to buy huda eyeshadow anymore, because they really don't work on me. Especially the shimmers, either it's flaky or it has no adherence on my eyes.

I love this palette. I like the lighter and cooler toned colors. If it had a matte grey it would be perfect for me. And maybe a brow bone color. However, I am going to try to dupe the vibe with my singles first before I buy it. I learned that from this channel. :-) I would be interested to see what you have that dupes it, too.

Use your flash on your phone for Love Stone and you’ll fall in love with it. MOST of these shades react completely differently in direct light, you gotta show them in that lighting to do this palette justice… wish I could afford it!

Oh no, I REALLY really want this palette. I hope they have a Black Friday deal on their site so I can grab this, the Glowish bronzer, and maybe one more goodie. Huda is doing a good job this year, I think.
I would use the glossy shades as a sticky base, I have the naughty palette but haven’t used it yet :)
Could I ask how it lasted? Glitter glue is so fiddly, I was intrigued by you using it as a primer. I just worry that it might crease on me. Btw this packaging is the most beautiful palette I've ever seen, I have never bought a Huda palette but I'm buying this!

Those colors are so pretty and those colors suit you beautifully! I’m on a no buy but I love it! I have mercury retrograde and nude light. I think I see some colors from Natasha Denona’s Lila palette too!

This is kind of in the same vein as the Glamlite Chocolate Martini palette. Neutral palettes that lean a bit pink or purple are just gorgeous! I'm definitely here for this latest trend. Sophisticated but still fun and versatile!

you've totally sold me on this palette, i LOVE it, if i can get it for half off during the holidays i am definitely picking it up, but i'm also tempted by the mercury retrograde so i'll have to do some comparisons. the look you did is so beautiful and the swatches look amazing. i'd love to see a detailed review as well. not sure if you're planning on making any organization videos now that you're in your new place, but i would 100000% watch one if you did!

I see this and know I don't need it. It is so tempting though. LOL I just bought the Huda New Nudes (which was 85$ Canadian 😱 ) and, although they are not the same, they are similar. I am also on a low buy so until after New Year 2022. Love your look and channel. XO You are stunning!
I CANNOT WAIT to get this palette, i haven't been this bowled over by and excited for a palette in a loooong time! (The last one to do this to me was ABH Amrezy, which I'm still obsessed with) but this palette is just SPECIAL.
I will probably end up getting this palette when it goes on sale at some point, but can't justify getting it until then as I have both Mercury Retrograde and Naughty Nudes and I think bar a few shades, basically every colour in those palettes can be found in Rose Quartz. That being said, I still really like this palette because the shimmers look soooo nice and I feel like I've become somewhat of a Huda collector. But also I'm hoping she finally ventures outside of the pink hued rut she's in with these bigger palettes. Like an earthy, w/a pop of colour full-size palette would be so cool.
