Excellent job. I own and drive my 1985 with the original 1.9 engine and standard 4 speed transmission.
Awesome! They are definitely cool rigs
Amazing for my boy ❤
Beautiful work Greg
nice story, production values on this vid.
Nice van nice swap great vid!. You should join in on the campout groups
We're in London UK. My brother is considering this swap on his 1989 Bluestar because of the impending Ultra Low Emission Zone covering the WHOLE of London.
First we are trying to find out if it can be re-classified, once swapped, to then make it compliant and not still have to pay £12.50 the second you drive off your property.
I'm really unsure we don't have emissions over here for a vehicle this old.
do you have an update on what ya'll did with the interior/exterior? sounds excellent fellas
I’m working on a conversion bus right now and having troubles with the radiator and coolant system bleeding and moving coolant to the radiator. Any pointers?
did you use the original transmission?
Hi Greg I'm French and I got a t25 panelvan with a 2.0 atmo (non turbo) subaru forester 125 hp on it
Well well well
I got some questions and I hope you could answer some of theses
Have you some cooling problem with
Have you added an electric water pomp for the cooling system
Did you have convert a subaru gearbox too or use the same transporter gearbox with a converting kit
Have you added a new oil pan
less lower than the original one
Did you take it on daily use or just for weekends?
And the last one
Have you built the exhaust system by yourself or have you buy it on market
what was the total cost of the engine swap?
what kind of flywheel adapter is needed
Was the original engine gas or diesel?
It was already swapped to a gas engine
Interesting. I have an 83' diesel and am wondering how difficult it would be to swap to a gasoline engine or just to put a new TDI in.@@gregsrestorations7019
@leifslife5447 very time consuming but can be done!
@gregsrestorations7019 so did you fit the original 4/5 speed gearbox? Or a subaru one. I have a covered one to a twin turbo legacy engine however I'm wanting a subaru gearbox aswell.
