Excellent catches, those gondolas and cabooses are worn and weathered. You must do lots of traveling. Great video.

Your very welcome, glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching
Great video of the old scrapyard! I'm a big fan of Gondolas myself especially when you see one out of the ordinary. I'd like to have an old caboose to make in to a railroad man cave like the room I'm creating. Thanks again PAPPY for sharing another great video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Nice job my friend. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.

For sure Darrell, I'm hoping that's not the case with them caboose. The track behind there is NS, hoping it was just storage. Hope you have a good weekend. Always appreciate you watching

@@TriGogglin Your very welcome. Makes things cool and interesting also.
Those two rib side gondolas are ex CONRAIL G43 gondolas. They were built by the PRR in the 1960s.The blue caboose is also ex CR N10 caboose. It was built for RDG/Reading.In 1976 CR got that caboose along with 9 other N10s from the Reading.😊
Awesome info, thank you.. yeah knew the gons were old ones but didn't think that old.. Great to see them still in use.. really appreciate you watching and the info..
Excellent presentation Pappy. SBD = Seaboard System. You caught a rare one there 👍😊😎
Oh man, I should o know that.. awesome Dave thank you. Didn't hit me that way. Was thinking SBD, who the hell is that.. glad you enjoyed it. Always a pleasure to have you watch. Hope your weekend is good.

@@TriGogglin thanks
We Love the same stuff Pappy… You do the legwork and I’ll do the watching. 😂 Talk at you later buddy !!
🤣🤣🤣 sounds like a plan to me, I love this stuff.. appreciate you... and all your support
Haha awesome video pappy.. love the cabooses.. 😊
Thanks Jorge, yeah gotta love them cabooses. Glad you liked them, hope you have a good weekend
Those cabooses look in better condition than the ribbed gondola which has surely had a hard life carrying heavy stuff. Hope the cabooses can be saved even if just on the bit of track like the one first shown. Our equal to them all went the same way and it is years since I saw one on the main line I guess there could be a few rotting away somewhere. Plenty preserved ones and they let you ride in them on some lines.
For sure hope they go to a good home, and not sitting there to be scrapped. We have many on display in towns across the country. And in museums, some folks even bout them and have them in their back yards, I would love that.. but shipping one cost more than buying one.. and we have a few scenic railroads that offer rides. And some railroads use them as a shoving platform. Glad ou enjoyed the video, hope you have a great weekend
Very cool spot there Pappy, love that old Chessie caboose, wonder what they use the boxcars for? Them gons look beat to hell and back, the true Sherman tank of railcars. Hey have a good weekend Pappy👍🏼😁🇺🇲
Yeah them gons definitely are well used. Loved them cabooses.. I like your style of thinking, definitely some battle tanks. Hope your weekend is great as well. Thanks for watching..
Great find, Pappy. Cabooses are always cool to see even if they’re old and rusty. You found Moe, did you see Larry and Curly? 🤣😃🤪
🤣🤣 thanks Drew, I think Larry and Curley were the 2 caboose 🤣🤣 thanks for watching
@@TriGogglin HA HA sounds about right. I thought I recognized those 2. LOL
"S B D" (Seaboard)...
Thank you, I should of know that.. but it definitely didn't hit me that way, appreciate the info and you watching
