The sound quality of the mic on the Samsung is just insane! They’ve really improved stabilization as well.
I don't think it's that much better. And, personally, I prefer if the video does not look so super stabilized. That's just my preference tho

Good job Samsung put more improve on ultra, and finally Samsung fixed skin tone color.
eh skin color looks slightly too gray and the iphone 12 brings out the colors and contrast more but the samsung has better sound quality, but sound quality isn’t as important as the camera, iphone also wins in autofocus and dark environnement

I hate it when reviewers keep Samsung's "scene optimizer" ON and start complaining about "punchy", "saturated" colors.
Yes they either don't know what is this mode used for or they are not being professional and upload a video with this turned on and complaining. One thing I noticed about supersaf is that before he was way more accurate with the results and was more passionate about doing these things. Now he is like hey look at this video I know you will click it cause you were my followers for the past 5 years and this is not working for him.

That and the fact that he never enabled (or disabled) the S21 Ultra's built-in motion stability feature lmaoo. If you look up other videos of people using the S21U's camera (in 4K, 60FPS) whilst walking, there's literally almost no video judders/shakiness as they have motion stability enabled lol. My man here had a decent idea for comparison, but didn't setup the S21U correctly at all (or took it out of the good, preset configuration) lol. So there's not a viable comparison here, unfortunately...

Nah Samsung makes him more yellow which isn’t his natural skin tone and it makes everything more saturated except for zoom in some cases

@@rohalinginthedeep Audio is quite subjective, so you're delusional if you think that everyone is going to prefer the same thing. You may also have noticed that the audio results differ greatly when using front or rear facing cameras - front facing, the Samsung seems clearer and the iPhone lacking bass. Rear facing, it starts going the opposite with the iPhone having slightly clearer and full sound.
Note that clearer doesn't really mean which one has louder mid or high tones, which is the scope of most people's analysis of audio. It involves things like can you hear individual sounds in the mix, can you hear the atmosphere of the surroundings, can you hear the accent in a voice. Does it sound like you are there? This is also dependent on your listening/playback device.
Edit : It also depends on the situtation as after reviewing more of the footage, both phones start doing the wind reduction thing and losing some audio quality because of it.
Best camera comparison and review ever on the internet. Best I have ever seen. First, the previews round for viewers to decide then comes your verdict along with the preview scenes explaining every difference. Just awesome.
Finally decided on getting the S21 ultra , upgrading from the ancient j6, and your videos have been extremely helpful in deciding what phone to get. Right to the point, unlike the other tech channels lol, and actually entertaining to watch.

Coming from a samsung guy (who just switched to IPhone 12 pro max btw) Samsung has always had issues with video and its camera software. They have made progress leaps and bounds and this device looks great - but it seems like it's still not quite there yet. iphone always takes top prize in the video dept - but the gap is closing. If Samsung can just get their software processing down, they will be amazing.

An interesting observation off the bat. At the very beginning during the intro, pause the video randomly. The iphone's front camera tends to blur much more on the pause while the galaxy seems to maintain a degree of clarity and sharpness much more consistently and reliably. Useful for taking pictures from video.
What's the benefit of taking pictures from videos?
Turn down the blur on the s21 ultra for portrait usually looks really good around 2 or 3
All in for a raw comparison photos between these two. I think we are at a point where these can be compared now.

@SuperSaf do you normally use a android or iphone? currently on 12 pro and have had 7, XS, 11 Pro and now the 12 Pro. The only thing keeping me on iPhone is iMessage and the updates, I have NO other devices from Apple. Hard decision to make...tired of being limited in a lot of ways but the consistency on iOS is unmatched. I'm thinking the larger screen will be easier to read due to the larger size (I'm not getting any younger 🤣😂) What does anyone who reads this think? I've got a week to make up my decision...

Samsung is still facing similar problems with its previous device S20 ultra & Note20 Ultra, it has not modified the camera in same situations
