      Thanks so much! I try not to take it personally…but maybe it’s me and not the soap? 🤷‍♀️🤓. Either way, I can’t please everyone, but am always glad when people reach out to let me know they like something, so thank you!❤️

      @@AMandatoryActivity I doubt it's you, some people are weird. The video was great! The soap looked amazing! I loved it and I subbed.

      Those people had soap on their hand and rubbed their eye, and ended up hitting the wrong thumb 😉😆

    This is exactly what i was looking for 🤩 thank you so much. Well explained! Cool way to use up the scraps without getting into an endless cycle of crystal soap production 😅

      Thank you! I know what you mean, and I hate wasting supplies, so I tried to think of something! :)

      @@AMandatoryActivity i also ordered some silicone forms that already have a "crystal" shape so I can make some without shaving anything off. I am not sure if I would have enough patience to use up all scraps the way you did. I will definitely try it though! Thank you so much

    can we use cacoa, rock salt etc?

    • @AMandatoryActivity
      @AMandatoryActivity  Před 2 lety +1

      I never use salt with glycerin soaps because it collects so much moisture. I don’t know if cocoa powder would work…I’m not sure cocoa powder would work in glycerin soap the way it does in cold process soap…but it doesn’t seem like it would be a good idea.

    • @AMandatoryActivity
      @AMandatoryActivity  Před 4 lety +1

      The bright turquoise in the intro is Sensationail express gel in "left me jaded". I think the darker blue is a couple of different colors...I think I did a black gel on the bottom and then added a blue gel glitter on top.

    • @AMandatoryActivity
      @AMandatoryActivity  Před 4 lety +1

      I would think so, but she would definitely need supervision since there is a lot of hot soap and sharp blades...but safety measures aside, she can definitely do the design and process!

    I loved your tutorial, however, it's your support of Amazon that bothers me . There are plenty of soap supply businesses that we can support. Jeff Bezos does not need to be richer than he already is. I learned alot from your tutorial, thank you so much.

      I’m glad you enjoyed it. I attempted to provide options based on whether people wanted convenience, free shipping, etc. As a small business owner myself, I understand, but I also recognize that convenience plays a part particularly when in-person options may be limited.

      Unfortunately those big companies are in the position of being able to offer people income through affiliate links. Some people aren’t in the position to turn it down. That’s the problem.
