I remember some 10 years or so back when we perform Queen songs on a school concert and won 1st position in Instrumental Competition held on the same school in which we include LOVE OF MY LIFE among different songs. Also, my QUEENmate, my bestfriend, my music buddy, a great guitarist who loved Queen's music too, who died on 20th February, 2022 due to overdose suddenly pops up on my mind. Man, oooh how I miss him and all the memories we had!!! Many memories and emotions come up suddenly as I watch this video. This is so valuable to me due to the 'what if...?' perspective besides my love for Queen. Please keep it like this and don't remove it so that I can always come back and experience what I am feeling right now. Thank you so much!

It’s a nice thought to think what might of happened but in reality if he stayed on his meds the longest he may of lived would probably be 1992 or 93 seeming as his doctors were surprised he lived past 1989. Nice vid tho
I think it would not have gone down like this. If he was alive today… Innuendo and Made in Heaven would not have excisted. The Miracle would have been very different as well. Songs like I want it all and Invisible man would be there yes. But songs by Freddie would have been very different because now he is in a very different mind space. I think he might have taken more time to record his solo album “Barcelona” Then around 1991/92 he and Queen would have returned with an album that sounds more like what was happening at the time with populair bands like Guns n Roses, Pearl Jam and Nirvana. Don’t forget, they’ve always adapted a sound that fitted the music at the time. Like when punkrock happened in 1977 and disco/funk in the early 80’s. I think Queen would have very cleverly fitted that era of alternative rock in the 90’s. Ofcourse there would have been a tour in 1992/1993. Then there were more solo albums like Brian’s Back to the Light and Roger’s Happiness? Freddie would have surely done something as well. An MTV unplugged would have been very likely around 96/97 yes. Combined with another album and/or possible movie soundtrack. Because there were some good movies in the 90’s. A tour to close the century in 99? For sure. Rock n roll hall of fame in 2001. Queens jubilee in 2002. But I think after that there would not have been more albums. Maybe two or three very far apart. Like Aerosmith or the Stones. Those albums would not have been groundbreaking. And the tours most likely would consist of the songs we know very well today. I think Freddie would have been a much beloved producer/mentor to many young artists in the 00’s and 10’s. And many appearances with for example his friend Elton John I think that by now, he would have been retired. Living his days peacefully in a world that by majority accepts homosexuality.

Songs like I want it all and Invisible man would be there yes. But songs by Freddie would have been very different because now he is in a very different mind space.
I think he might have taken more time to record his solo album “Barcelona”
Then around 1991/92 he and Queen would have returned with an album that sounds more like what was happening at the time with populair bands like Guns n Roses, Pearl Jam and Nirvana. Don’t forget, they’ve always adapted a sound that fitted the music at the time. Like when punkrock happened in 1977 and disco/funk in the early 80’s.
I think Queen would have very cleverly fitted that era of alternative rock in the 90’s.
Ofcourse there would have been a tour in 1992/1993.
Then there were more solo albums like Brian’s Back to the Light and Roger’s Happiness?
Freddie would have surely done something as well.
An MTV unplugged would have been very likely around 96/97 yes. Combined with another album and/or possible movie soundtrack. Because there were some good movies in the 90’s. A tour to close the century in 99? For sure.
Rock n roll hall of fame in 2001. Queens jubilee in 2002.
But I think after that there would not have been more albums. Maybe two or three very far apart. Like Aerosmith or the Stones. Those albums would not have been groundbreaking. And the tours most likely would consist of the songs we know very well today.
I think Freddie would have been a much beloved producer/mentor to many young artists in the 00’s and 10’s. And many appearances with for example his friend Elton John
I think that by now, he would have been retired. Living his days peacefully in a world that by majority accepts homosexuality.
