  • The 8 Official Ways of creating an opportunity for your team!
A team can create a goal scoring opportunity from anywhere on the pitch, but what if I told you that every goal ever scored falls into one of these 8 Categories? These terms are the official terms used by coaches and performance analysts to describe how a goal was scored, and are a great starting point for any team who wants to be more succesful on the attack. In this video we break down the best ways of creating chances during a match of football, along with some key movements that need to be done in order to avoid tricky defences or the offside trap!
The best football teams in the world have mastered all of these, and are able to easily and swiftly switch from one style of attack to another in order to overcome the oppositions back line!

I love watching Football Meta videos. Understanding these little finer details of football makes watching the most borring of football games interesting because you can just watch their tactics and analyse them in game and suddenly you're enjoying the game again.
Please consider doing videos about how to counter these tactics. Like how to nullify Liverpools fullbacks attacks, how to nullify a false 9 and maybe use games where a opponent manager successfully did that and got a positive result in the end.

UPDATE: We had a match again this past weekend. though we lost 2-1 Away, The boys played well and created a lot of chances. Through ball again and the keeper punched it and our winger got a the rebound. We scored the first goal but we could not contain their attack after that.
This week we work on cutbacks and crosses from the byline. We have two matches remaining and the fight for survival is still on.

The dummy is another most effective way to create chances, letting the ball run through one player's legs to the next player confuses the opponent defence thus create goal scoring chances.
