I am having kiger turbo rxz since 2 years. No problem till now....build quality is a bit low thats true.... but if exter vs kiger turbo i will anytime go with kiger turbo. In future if i will buy renault that depends on money.... as of now kiger turbo is best value for money for me 😍
Kiger means only Turbo and CVT. I am very happy that I bought Kiger CVT. And I would never ever compare my CVT with Exter. Exter is 200mm smaller than Kiger. Kiger is a compact SUV. I would never recommend Kiger NA car to anyone. Just test drive the turbo version of Kiger and you will go mad.
How's the ac cooling in extreme heat. I have booked a cvt but put it on hold till I have the following doubts cleared. Will also be meeting a senior engineer from Renault on Sunday. But since you own one I thought of asking you the following 1 ac cooling in the rear at 24 degrees and blower speed 2(since speed 2 is most efficient in most cars) 2 refinement ? 3 any vibrations on idling on dash board, gear stick and driver side right hand side door hand rest ? 4 any issues with android or iPhone connectivity and user interface 5 Any other positive or negativen feedback you would like to share from your side Regards.

Going by your ownership experience will the engine be as refined or refinement will get less as years pass? For example - honda, toyota and Suzuki engines remain almost the same even after years with basic servicing. So concerned about this . I'm not a rough user. I got 22kkmpl on the stretch of Mumbai jaipur when going to himachal and 21.5 between ajmer Mumbai when comig back in my santro xing 2005 model between speeds of 80 to 90kmph with ac. 35 litre tank. So I measured tank to tank . Both times after 600kms it started to enter red on gauge and the low fuel light came on. I was solo and did 4508 kms in 17 days in such a old car and only maintenance was car wash at manali and one in Mumbai after back. So I drive this way. Hence asking. I went to stockyard yesterday and extensively checked 7 kiger cvt turbos in stock. Shortlisted 2 one may month and one March 28 month. Both are phase 2. I may take red if they can do bonnet alignment. ( what I noticed is on all kigers leaving white color the bonnet alignment to apron on right side is not proper. Only on all white it is proper. Even the pdi guy agreed on this wrt white colors being perfect.)
I own nissan magnite XV for 2 years now. Rattle noise between dashboard and windshield is there when you take your vehicle from continous rough patch otherwise in city and on highways it is not evident. Gear shift - 1st gear pickup is smooth but however while Downshifting from 2nd to 1st gear it gets stuck the gear becomes hard but post greasing it becomes smooth which lasts only for 15 to 20 days post which same issue pops up. Post driving for 2 years i never felt lack of power or extreme vibration even in bumper to bumper traffic. Such cases of vibration in bumper to bumper traffic arises if tyre pressure is not maintained or air filter is chocked. Braking is excellent i never felt any issue, highway cornering is very good car is very much stable i did not find major body roll where maruti ertiga failed in cornering on sharp turn at high speed and dashed on divider from rear magnite sailed smoothly. Audio sound is top notch when compared to maruti or hyundai do try it and you will find why i am saying so. Reverse gear vibration on slope is there but if you want to avoid it post applying reverse gear you need to slightly press accelator when 50% of clutch is released, vibration will not be felt if you own magnite then do try this method. MRF tyres i do not personally recommend, rear tyre got bulge on sidewall in 2 years usage so i replaced it with Bridgestone. Bulge can happen due to various reason like tyre pressure not being maintained, tyres hitting deep potholes etc but i think nissan did a good move by correcting their mistake now tpms is provided as standard from base model itself which was not there earlier. Fit and finish is not that great when compared to hyundai, but believe me i purchased magnite xv model for 7.9 lakhs onroad and i do not repent on my decision i got value for my money. Comfort is great ground clearance is very good i dont remember my car hitting at bottom even with 5 people on board on rough patch on gujrat mumbai highway during rainy season. Those who drive on this road know about road condition of mumbai gujrat highway in rainy season. I have driven magnite 750 kms non stop and the car never let me down also to answer why front bonet is big length wise so that is done purposely so that while your car meets with accident the engine will go down and will not push the inside cabin so that cabin remains intact. Incase of exter there is no space left and almost all area is occupied by engine, also back is raised to improve head space like mpv so trust me it is not going to score more that 2 stars in global NCAP design is faulty. Engine refinement is not only the criteria to buy a car, safety, handling, comfort and last but not least how pocket friendly it is.

I have turbo cvt but never felt engine power issue in bumper to bumper traffic. Yes reverse gear the vehicle vibrates but power feels adequate. Also by constantly driving the same vehicle especially entry level Crossovers you'll always feel the need to upgrade because aap car ko cheetah jaise bhaga nahi paaoge. For a daily drive it's a very comfortable car. For highways definitely there are better options but in higher segments
Reverse gear problem resolved in 2023 model, I have 2021 rxt option and my brother in law have 2023 rxt option, so much difference in 2023, improved pickup, no engine noise inside the cabin, and in reverse no vibration And other 4 new features are good

I agree with the engine experience of renault. I own a Renault triber and i have been facing the same issues, low mileage and low power on highways. Fyi i also own a seltos 1.5 NA HTX, bot the triber thinkig it would give better fuel efficiency.
Kiger turbo is good option . I own it turbo rxz since last 9 months drove more than 12k . Enough power and high speed stability is pretty good.especialyy for long drive. Earlier I owned dzire for 4 years .. I took taste drive of kiger non turbo feel low power but turbo is good. But service is not good..
Normally city drive me gadi chalate waqt agar ap decent drive karte ho , toh hyundai is way better than its rivals because of its fit and finish, engine refinement, good aluminium sheets used in body....And if u are someone who always drive beyond 80 then go for Tata and forget about engine refinement, trust your safety

Even I have this feeling that the clutch is very hard. That too after driving a kiger that ran for 8000 kms. After only half an hour drive, you could feel the pain in your left leg.

Kiger Turbo is best. Delivers power and different drive mode are there. Feels like u drive suv. Boot space and overall all space front and rare is big and comfortable in Kiger. Design is awesome.

I bought Kiger Turbo CVT after testing Nexon AMT. Nexon does not come with CVT and turbo (in 2021). Day and night difference. Kiger was cheaper and much better. Nexon was wider, and that's it.

I have also been told that 2nd hand market price for Magnite is very cheap atm. So pls check all these and make a decision.

I was considering this but is it really worth spending 12L on Nissan? Right now in 2nd hand market Magnite goes for cheaper price. So, please do your research. Nexon on the other hand top 10 selling cars every month which will have better value.

I have been using Renault Kwid more than 7 years, and done more than 70k km in it, service is not upto the mark, no part is repairable, u have to buy it completely new. Mostly the exhaust pipe is not durable, have changed twice till date(and welded countless times), suspension arms are also not durable, rattling noice from every part just after 3-4k km running, service cost is almost equal to maruti’s suv service cost. Service centre people are so much casual about the services, and the quality of the product they offer, u know it. While purchasing the kwid I looked at its price but never looked about the build quality. Recently booked Altroz BS6 phase 2 petrol, and delivery is scheduled in next 2 weeks. Before considering Altroz, i too took test drive of Exter, no doubt its engine is silent but I felt the suspension setup bit softer than Altroz (not considered features in the offering from either cars) which bottoms out when only 3 people sits in the car in small pot holes at sopeds around 30-35 kmph and do not provide confidence to push it a bit faster. Not a fan boy of Tata but I only considered Altroz for safety, ride quality and the confidence that it gives while driving it around 80-90 kmph on highway. FYI altroz cost me more like 30-40k extra than exter.

Exter sx and above models are value for money but ex and ex o and s models i dont find that much value for money and also punch is giving 15 inch wheels from base model exter tyres are too small for suv wala feeling in models less than sx model it is good for city small travel but for long travel it is not also small tyre and agge ka bumper bhi problem de sakta in roads with potholes 😊
I think the recline angle is more than usual in Exter, for long trips it will not be comfortable and you are always expected to sit in a relaxed position rather than sitting a little up. .
Any one learning to drive a car is sure to murder the clutch and gear, I am pretty sure that is the reason why that Kiger is in such bad driving shape. I owned Hyundai Accent and Xcent and both after 15,000-20,000 km engine vibrating starts.

Sir it depends on engine.... Kiger natural 1000cc doesn't have power but turbo engine will give you beast mode in driving....

I have turbo cvt but never felt engine power issue in bumper to bumper traffic. Yes reverse gear the vehicle vibrates but power feels adequate. Also by constantly driving the same vehicle especially entry level Crossovers you'll always feel the need to upgrade because aap car ko cheetah jaise bhaga nahi paaoge. For a daily drive it's a very comfortable car. For highways definitely there are better options but in higher segments
Reverse gear problem resolved in 2023 model, I have 2021 rxt option and my brother in law have 2023 rxt option, so much difference in 2023, improved pickup, no engine noise inside the cabin, and in reverse no vibration
And other 4 new features are good

I agree with the engine experience of renault. I own a Renault triber and i have been facing the same issues, low mileage and low power on highways. Fyi i also own a seltos 1.5 NA HTX, bot the triber thinkig it would give better fuel efficiency.

Kiger turbo is good option . I own it turbo rxz since last 9 months drove more than 12k . Enough power and high speed stability is pretty good.especialyy for long drive. Earlier I owned dzire for 4 years .. I took taste drive of kiger non turbo feel low power but turbo is good. But service is not good..

Normally city drive me gadi chalate waqt agar ap decent drive karte ho , toh hyundai is way better than its rivals because of its fit and finish, engine refinement, good aluminium sheets used in body....And if u are someone who always drive beyond 80 then go for Tata and forget about engine refinement, trust your safety
This is what I did and brought Tata 😅 Renault ka resale value is not good and 1ltr non-turbo for over 10L just didn't make sense 😊

Altroz 2023 ph2 is great .. My altroz easily picks up on 2 gear in heavy trafic.
Even I have this feeling that the clutch is very hard. That too after driving a kiger that ran for 8000 kms. After only half an hour drive, you could feel the pain in your left leg.

I bought Kiger Turbo CVT after testing Nexon AMT. Nexon does not come with CVT and turbo (in 2021). Day and night difference. Kiger was cheaper and much better. Nexon was wider, and that's it.

Exter is only for those who want to buy a hatchback but in that price they can get a bigger car, who are particularly looking for a proper micro-suv with good and reasonable off road capability then other options are better..

I have also been told that 2nd hand market price for Magnite is very cheap atm. So pls check all these and make a decision.

@@shrey522 No sure on that. Just 1 star difference in safety, that difference showing accidents would be so bad, that time stars wont matter. Magnite has more features, and the main thing I forgot to add, I am looking for automatic. AMT is so bad in Nexon
@@raptor6104 yeah.. not much difference between 4 and 5 stars but it would make a lot of difference from 1 to 5 star's. Ig Magnite has CVT automatic.. I was considering this but is it really worth spending 12L on Nissan? Right now in 2nd hand market Magnite goes for cheaper price. So, please do your research. Nexon on the other hand top 10 selling cars every month which will have better value.

I have been using Renault Kwid more than 7 years, and done more than 70k km in it, service is not upto the mark, no part is repairable, u have to buy it completely new. Mostly the exhaust pipe is not durable, have changed twice till date(and welded countless times), suspension arms are also not durable, rattling noice from every part just after 3-4k km running, service cost is almost equal to maruti’s suv service cost. Service centre people are so much casual about the services, and the quality of the product they offer, u know it. While purchasing the kwid I looked at its price but never looked about the build quality. Recently booked Altroz BS6 phase 2 petrol, and delivery is scheduled in next 2 weeks. Before considering Altroz, i too took test drive of Exter, no doubt its engine is silent but I felt the suspension setup bit softer than Altroz (not considered features in the offering from either cars) which bottoms out when only 3 people sits in the car in small pot holes at sopeds around 30-35 kmph and do not provide confidence to push it a bit faster. Not a fan boy of Tata but I only considered Altroz for safety, ride quality and the confidence that it gives while driving it around 80-90 kmph on highway. FYI altroz cost me more like 30-40k extra than exter.

Exter sx and above models are value for money but ex and ex o and s models i dont find that much value for money and also punch is giving 15 inch wheels from base model exter tyres are too small for suv wala feeling in models less than sx model it is good for city small travel but for long travel it is not also small tyre and agge ka bumper bhi problem de sakta in roads with potholes 😊

I think the recline angle is more than usual in Exter, for long trips it will not be comfortable and you are always expected to sit in a relaxed position rather than sitting a little up. .

Any one learning to drive a car is sure to murder the clutch and gear, I am pretty sure that is the reason why that Kiger is in such bad driving shape. I owned Hyundai Accent and Xcent and both after 15,000-20,000 km engine vibrating starts.
