@79Sephora it does rather depend on how you feel about creasing. It does say that it sets (not that I noticed) but I do love a cream base (as you probably know) because you get a much better payoff with your powder eyeshadows. It is the kind of product that I will definitely carry in my kit but would not use on a bride.
wow the thing i love about ur make up is not just how beautiful it is but you make me feel that i can do this too the way you do the make up look simple and easy but incredibly beautiful
Hey Sam! So quite recently I picked up your Real Techniques Core Collection brush set at Ulta and I am absolutely thrilled about them. They are the best ones in my brush collection and the buffing brush is my ultimate fave for applying my foundation. I was a bit hesitant in using it for my L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation but I tried it and the coverage is phenomenal. I give Real Techniques a standing ovation and I plan on trying out the eye brushes set next. Much love, Diana
so i was at ulta and to my surpise i saw your brushes were sold there, there was only one left, just the foundation brush, so you know i snagged that! its awesome!
I've already seen this video of course, but i saw the thumbnail and i had to come and say you look like Mila Cunis with your hair sleeked like that! Love it!
you.are.so .b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!! every time i watch your videos i'm thinking "gosh, she looks so pretty" :) greetings from germany, you guys are amazing!
I love how you guys do REAL smoky eyes, with the entire lash line darkened, as opposed to sooo many makeup "gurus" that think a light lid and very dark crease qualifies as a smoky eye :P
i love watching your videos, they make me feel really good and excited about trying the looks out, its a great pick me up at the end of the day to log on to youtube and have one of your videos to watch so i'd just like to say thank you! THANK YOU!
I LOVE this look! I usually mess up the smokey eye make up and end up looking like a girl who partied for 24 hrs straight and possibly got wasted:) My bf hates it naturally and never wants me to "try" that look...but...with this simple technique, i'm sure i'll be able to create this gorgeous look on myself as well... Thank you very much!
Is it weird that I loved how you looked around 1:52 with just eyebrows and not much else? I've been really into strong brows/minimal makeup lately. Idk why.
God girls, i love your videos!Im only 16 and today i had 3 makeup jobs doing prom makeup here in ireland :) thanks so much for the amazing techniques! xxxxxxxxxxxx
Gorgeous look, straight to favs. I was wondering why it doesn't have the 1000s of views already as usual but see it's on your pixiwoomadness channel. Thanks for sharing Sam, might be my birthday make-up.
I LOVE watching you two! and remember your first Kim video where you were saying you had no idea who she was and then proceeded to do an amazing rendition of her look? Lol, true pros
@PixiwooMadness I get you :o) I know creased eyeshadow can be a look in and of itself and it IS a look I appreciate. But I'd say that 95% of the time, I go for 'long lasting' effect just because it suits my purpose more. Thanks for your comment and input! I'll check out other Sleek stuff in London. Curious about their blushes!
@PixiwooMadness oh, that makes sense. btw i have seen in one of your videos that your haircolor has faded. i used to have red hair, and i suggest you try l'oreal excelence range, the colour doesn't fade as fast.
I love your take on this look. Personally, I am not a fan of Kim because she always looks the same. She never experiments with her makeup or anything else. She dresses how men want her to dress. Sorry about the rant... You are amazing. :)
Does Laura Mercier not make Ash anymore? It seems like it's the only shade that would made my super light eyebrows, but I looked on several sites, including their own, that sells LM and that color isn't an option anymore. Only Soft and Deep Blonde and Auburn. - Also, with the sleeked back hair and this make up, you look truly stunning. You're beautiful as is, but this is just superstar glam! Gorgeous.
Sam for a bridal look would you rather use Chanel ProLumier or the MakeUpForever foundation? Please answer....I am getting married in a month and I'll do my own make up, but the base is crucial for me!!!!
That looks great. Love your gray eyes! However, my eyes are very dark brown. With that dark color my eyes disappear. I also have small eyes. Could you suggest alternative colors? Or suggestions for small DARK eyes? Thanks!!!!
HI, it's my first time to leave you a comment, love the look! I know you've done a makeup collection. Could you please do a brush collection& go over the must have brushes?
This is gorgeous! So for a person with small eyes, would you just recommend I replace the black eyeliner with a white or skin-tone liner? Any other suggestions?
@crjs1987 Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra has great coverage and is really long lasting! I have tried MUFE HD too and Teint Idole definitely has better coverage and lasts much longer (I didn't find MUFE to be long lasting at all on my normal/dry skin - I'm guessing because MUFE has a dewy finish it just fades faster).
Can you put a eyeshadow primer (such as UDPP or Too Faced) before you apply a cream shadow? Will that help the cream shadow to not crease and intensify the shadow still or is it just in the nature of some cream shadows to crease? Thanks Sam!
gosh your eyes are beautiful x
wow love this!! i love how you also use very few products! esp on the eyes, creating a smoky look with one cream shadow and one dry shadow, AWESOME!
@MiSsDallo0o3a I used a gel to get rid of the flyaways.
You almost look like Khloe with your eyes brought out so bright in this look. God, I love you and Nic's tutorials so much♥

Oh, I love the texture the shadow had on you. I love it when it creases a bit. You look GORGEOUS! Thank you!
wow the thing i love about ur make up is not just how beautiful it is but you make me feel that i can do this too the way you do the make up look simple and easy but incredibly beautiful
I can't believe how much you can transform yourself into each of the celebs you copy.. Amazing! :-)
I have learned so much from you over the last year or so. I've honed my technique to get really interesting results. Thanks so much

UR INSANE!!!! ANY SIMPLY ROCKS ANY LOOK!!! IM AMAZED!
@marylennnox Kim seems to wear her hair slicked down and tied back at a lot of red carpets recently... in the UK anyways.
@Marwah119 Perhaps but not in the picture that I was working from.
i love how the peach base mad it glossy and warmed i up, im definitly ordering that sleek palette! gorgeous!
Wow you are STUNNING Sam!!! May God protect you from all harm and evil.

@khombolali I hope so but I cant be sure. The best people to ask are Real Techniques

I love how you guys do REAL smoky eyes, with the entire lash line darkened, as opposed to sooo many makeup "gurus" that think a light lid and very dark crease qualifies as a smoky eye :P
Sam - could you and Nic do some trials, where you do make up before and after, and give us your opinion on stay power/running/creasing?
i love watching your videos, they make me feel really good and excited about trying the looks out, its a great pick me up at the end of the day to log on to youtube and have one of your videos to watch so i'd just like to say thank you!

Sorry about the rant...
You are amazing. :)
I love this look!!!
Sam, that foundation brush is the Real Techniques stippling brush, not the buffing brush. You of all people should know that! xx
