People don't know the back drop of anyone's LIFE but their own, so people like to always, speak and judge what they think they SEE AND KNOW. There is not one person living that hasn't dealt with something in their life, that has affected them in some negative way that still brings unaddressed pain. So if we're gonna always hold people to a standard make sure your STANDARD is immaculate to the point where you can HELP people who are not perfect as you are.

I feel our church is in the midst of the brand building. We had a beloved famous pastor & gospel singer in our town, he passed about 5 years ago in his 80's & when he was preaching at our church he mentioned that back in the day he would do a revival for a whole week & get just a few dollars! I think the brand building is saying whether you pay your tithes & offerings or not I will be able to take care of me and my family. Also this is the month where we will get flooded with " honor" messages, not for God but for him. which I understand honor is needful but he's talking about honor for him being a spiritual father and this will continue the honor series until his birthday in August and then more leading up to October for the pastor's appreciation. Our pastor says you cannot give honor without money

Brother Corey, when do we stay? If we are in a church that has signs of needing correction, we’ve made suggestions for corrections, sticking to biblical methods for that, is there a final straw? I think about a lot of the people I’m surrounded by in my church who are great people, but I’m not sure if staying is right for my family. I’m involved in music and men’s ministries and there’s a lot of authentic growth, especially in men’s, but I’ve gotten push back on problematic songs and teachings of our church. Side note- Do you have an opinion on ARC churches?

Brother Corey, when do we stay? If we are in a church that has signs of needing correction, we’ve made suggestions for corrections, sticking to biblical methods for that, is there a final straw?
I think about a lot of the people I’m surrounded by in my church who are great people, but I’m not sure if staying is right for my family. I’m involved in music and men’s ministries and there’s a lot of authentic growth, especially in men’s, but I’ve gotten push back on problematic songs and teachings of our church. Side note- Do you have an opinion on ARC churches?
