Looking back at this 3 years after watching it for the first time, I've learned and dance so much that I'm hearing this song in a different way. I can't explain it, it's the exact same song and yet I'm finding new rhythm, new instruments to dance to. Its amazing

She was trained hard in the Terry's school SalsAlianza in Paris most of the time by himself as a professional student danser! They are trained to become teacher, what she actually is! :)

Yes she does it very well I'm sure he's a good lead but to follow his musicality is going crazy!! Amazing to watch for sure. Look at towards the end (6min song) how he follows the drums and she follows the piano...!!!
Terry really the Bruce Lee of salsa. The guy stays undefeated, and constantly raising the bar with every video he puts out.
Bruce Lee actually danced salsa too. I believe dude was a salsa instructor on a cruise ship before he got famous.

Terry's redemption from the viral video of him dancing to this same song. A lot of people were mad that he did a lot of solo shines. In this version Terry has changed the game completely in leading partner work shines. The social dance king has done it again! Great work my brother

As a follow I can tell Terry likes his solos and if I were to dance with him I would know that he will show off his awesome popping skills and not be mad at him. I think anyone who dances with him wants to see him show off because to me it's elevates the energy of the dance. I think it's those that are not aware of his dance style who think the follow is not being appreciated although she accepted the dance with him.
As an experienced dancer; sometimes you want to dance the shine out solo sometimes with the partner. She just needs to play along that's all. yet another great work by Terry.
I wouldn't call it "redemption". It's kinda sad to think that Terry actually listened to those people. Don't get me wrong, I loved this variation almost as much as the solo dance with Amely. But people don't get that the way he dances is by trying to follow the music. When the same song was played years ago he felt the afro vibes screaming "rumba mambo guaguanco" so he danced accordingly. It should be danced as a "solo", or at the very least most people should do so, but they don't so he was heavily criticized for it.
Now he shares the floor with Bersy (who won't follow a "solo", she WILL lead it lmao) and when the song once again screams cuban roots gimme that afro vibe: he keeps leading. He keeps dancing the same way even though Bersy looks like her pants are on fire and she wants to let go and dance that sweet "solo". It's a great performance, I love Terry 'style, but I know he's way better than that. Hopefully the comments didn't affect him and he was just messing around with Bersy, lol. I would love to see another one of those amazing "solo" moments.
Terry is incredible!!!!! That spin at 5:20 is ridiculous!!!!!!! His musicality is unmatched and how he makes the woman look so feminine and beautiful while looking so smooth and in control is amazing.
Every Salsero has a song that he enjoys dancing to...this is definitely one of Terry's favorite song!
There are more than 3 social videos of him on this song and everyone is so much different and amazing from each other. He rewrites the book of social dancing imo.

If I had to guess, he’s able to tailor what he leads to what his follow can handle. The best leads follow their followers, and he’s clearly one of the best!
