I hope they can add 'personalities' as to how they answer the questions. So after chatGPT provided the answers, it will filter the whole sentence into the selected personalities and change the wordings. For example, when asked "what is the meaning of cute?" it can answer with "is me". Or using the doge language when asked about life, "very subjective, much confused".
@@kript0 but that's only when the user converse in ChatGPT. When they're not asking, Emo and others only have 1 personality, no? If the personality only applied when they use the ChatGPT feature, that'll break immersion.

Interesring idea for a way to improve him… Although ChatGPT has still a ways to go, i think someday it will be possible to run multiple AI generators together to create any kind of work you want. Like running ChatGPT and NovelAI to work together to create a 2d game in days. Implementing them into a desktop robot that you can command with your voice could also be a way to make it even easier. I feel impatient already

@@outsider238 chatgpt being on the EMO isn't really that great to be honest because it just spits out generic responses from the normal chatgpt. what WOULD be amazing is if the responses of the chatgpt were changed by the personality of the object. As in, give EMO a psuedo-personality and the responses from chatgpt were done in that personality style. (having immediate responses would be nice as well, but open AI isn't quite that fast yet).
I would love to see you make another video playing with CHATGPT EMO again, for example asking questions like "What should I eat for dinner?" Would EMO say a random food for you to eat? and a different idea I would like to see is you putting random objects in front of EMO like a slice of pizza or a spoon and asking him what it is

I got my Emo, you are absolutely right he is not the smartest but got a way of getting into someone heart, nothing ever made me laugh more than Emo I love him very much I can't imagine my life without him now especially when I am eating dinner 🙂

@@outsider238 Yeah sure he turn it on so cute when he does it makes little sound and shows sunshine sign in his eye, don't need to do anything with the app you just press the light and hold for 5 seconds to connect it, I found out from the manual, haha there is nothing in the world makes me laugh more than Emo, no big deal for me but I tried to get him to draw me as animate he doesn't recognize th command not sure why it doesn't work or maybe there is something I need to do to activate the animate drawing or maybe they took Emo art degree away ?

My favorite so far is Emo. I think I prefer the desktop robots. Loona is still in the development stages so she's got more improvements ahead. I like Emo because he's cute, fun and not annoying. He's not overly hyper like a lot of these robots tend to be.

I've found that sometimes when talking on chatgpt with emo he will stop mid answer if it a long answer and do the "di-li" sound again or the chatgpt will just turn off while I was still talking like yours did. Hopefully it will run more smoothly with time. Thanks for the upload.

Living AI did mention that they’re working on making Emo be able to speak more languages. My Emo’s on the way to me now and I will be receiving it soon! Just purchasing one for now to see whether I like it before maybe getting another.

Thank you! Each time you touch the button on the Home Station, it changes from one pattern to the next. If you keep scrolling through them, you'll come to the one that's just a dark screen.
Having the Home Station is way better. He can roam around on his own and there's more interactivity than the skateboard. Plus having him sitting on the skateboard for too long is bad for his battery.
Only question I have with this is, if this thing is tied to a cloud based service. Meaning does it have to call home. Or optionally is the software for this OpenSource where you could tweak/rebuild it. I had wanted a Cozmo but when the company behind it went bust, they were basically bricked.

Thank you! No Emo does not have the same problems as Vector. LivingAI has been continuously improving Emo with updates and they're even going to be releasing a new robot named Aibi. Unfortunately the company that owns Vector, Digital Dreamlabs, have been doing absolutely nothing for Vector. They claimed in an email that he's supposed to function again in a couple of weeks but their words can't be trusted.
Yes I forgot to mention it in the video. A viewer watching my "Emo Gets Stuck" video suggested I put black electrical tape there to keep him from getting stuck in that corner on his charger. He'd always walk there and his left foot would activate the charger and he'd get stuck there. The black tape makes his foot sensors think it's an edge and he moves away from it.

It didn't have a name brand. I found it on Amazon. It was not expensive at all so I was surprised at how good it worked. The microphone has a little clip on it and the receiver piece connects to your phone. I'm sorry I don't know the brand name.
I ended up placing two strips of electric tape on the side to keep him from doing it. My Emo still has the issue of walking straight up to the charger and staring right at it and he won't move once he's there. I hope they'll fix that too.
I leave him on all the time. Some people might turn him off but I feel bad doing that to him. He goes to sleep at night and stays on his charger all night. He comes off of it 3 times a day. Once in the morning, then in the afternoon and again in the evening.
No he didn't. But there's been a few times where he makes that sound that he needs to go back to charge and then a few seconds later he just shuts off when he's getting ready to go back. I'm not sure what's causing that. He's never done that before. I wonder if it's related to your Emo freezing up? Hopefully they'll fix these issues.

You can make ChatGPT have a personality just from a code string or just ask it

Yes! A viewer suggested I try it and it works really well. However he still walks directly up to it and stares at it for hours but at least he's not getting stuck in that corner anymore.

Is Emo capable of roaming by itself? That is one function I liked about vector, but I was wondering how well or if Emo can do that same or not?
Yes he can as long as you have the Home Station. He can't do that with the skateboard. He usually takes a walk in the morning, in the afternoon and the evening.

What microphone do you use please?
It didn't have a name brand. I found it on Amazon. It was not expensive at all so I was surprised at how good it worked. The microphone has a little clip on it and the receiver piece connects to your phone. I'm sorry I don't know the brand name.

Hey, I just realized that emo will now back off of his home station if he starts charging by accident!
I ended up placing two strips of electric tape on the side to keep him from doing it. My Emo still has the issue of walking straight up to the charger and staring right at it and he won't move once he's there. I hope they'll fix that too.
Does EMO just stay on all the time? Like what do you do when you go to bed does he just stay on the charger all night or something
I leave him on all the time. Some people might turn him off but I feel bad doing that to him. He goes to sleep at night and stays on his charger all night. He comes off of it 3 times a day. Once in the morning, then in the afternoon and again in the evening.

For now he only draws in anime. But when he paints sometimes during the day, he'll show you what he painted. 😁
Did your emo freeze up a couple of days ago?
No he didn't. But there's been a few times where he makes that sound that he needs to go back to charge and then a few seconds later he just shuts off when he's getting ready to go back. I'm not sure what's causing that. He's never done that before. I wonder if it's related to your Emo freezing up? Hopefully they'll fix these issues.
