I like to do something different! I am a volunteer in UK at an organization who help the elderly people. Did you know that there are people that don`t talk at all for the entire day? This is where in interfere ,with just a phone call,I can make someones day! If I take the time to visit someone ,once a week, it means the world to them. This type of volunteering makes me feel better about myself,about the world. This is how I spread Joy!!

This is great, I am one of those kids who is always having surgery, always seeing new doctors, been in the hospital too many times. Sometimes I feel like my life is worthless, but I stay strong. The joy jar is great to show kids who arent as strong, to become strong by knowing someone out there does care about them.

I spent 4 months in the hospital as an adult with leukemia. I have to say being stuck in the hospital was worse than the actual cancer itself. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be for a young kid.

Your comment makes me sad, because I do understand where it comes from, but I also believe that you don't have to lose this kind of childhood joy, positivity, compassion and love just because you grow up. I know the world isn't perfect, but there are more beautiful people in it than not. We just focus on the negative too much and not the positive. I truly hope you YOU keep/find your joy :D
