@@volkstrokeOn a regular two hour family trip in our 68 we would count bugs we saw during the trip and the numbers would be in the hundreds just for a little trip. There was never any other car you could do that game, except maybe the model T, little before my time. Not sure if people who weren't alive back then realize how many there really were on the road. The biggest most noticeable road sounds from back were the whistle of a VW exhaust, Mopar weird starter sound and Kawasaki triple two strokes boiling down the highway in the distance. I was little but can hear it like yesterday.

Really cool! My dad used to drag race a 54 oval with a 2386 but he hasn't raced in 8years, turns out a couple of days ago he started rebuilding that engine and it's going in our 55 oval street car.
