What I've been sewing - the Tilly & The Buttons Summer edition | Esti co-ord, Lyra & Skye dresses

A few of my recent makes from the summer of 2023.
I made the Esti Co-ord in a number of different fabrics and styles and talk about the differences between the versions.
I also made a Lyra shirt dress with adapted sleeves and Prym anorak snaps.
Lastly I made the Skye sundress but made several tweaks to the pattern to suit my style of making.

Fabulous makes, the Esti pattern really suits you. I made a version here I swapped the trousers out for the Saguaro pants so I could have pockets. Xx

I get that it's a simple pattern aimed at beginners but I've made a few that way with my pupils and they just look like sacks LOL! If you've got some basic dressmaking skills,then lining it is easy enough, but it does need tweaking. Doesn't help that I have giant boobs LOL

Your Esti’s are all lovely, I’ve got one cut out but didn’t get to make it before the summer ended, I’ll need to get it done for this summer. Your Lyra looks lovely, I’ve just made my first one without the bottom ruffle and love it,they are very comfy to wear aren’t they x
