The uncontainable pressure of emotion expressed in Sydnie’s lovely face at the close of that performance touched me deeply.
Superb reactions, my friends. Mission accomplished. 👍

I have never in all the years on either AGT or BGT seen a reaction from the judges at the announcement of the winner. Usually it a heartfelt standing ovation. But these guys went completely nuts! They were jumping up and down. I almost expected them to start throwing high fives at one another!

Sydnie had tried so many Talent Shows and failed to get anywhere that she decided her last try would be BGT. Because she was so used to losing she decided to be funny during her Audition. When Amanda gave her the Golden Buzzer she was so shocked her Legs just gave way. Then she realised for the first time she was in with a chance of her dreams coming true. However her next two songs were very different, they would be pure singing. She had to make sure her voice would hit every note and she was concentrating soley on that as well as nervous. At the end of both those songs she could see and hear the Audience Reaction and thought, 'I did it' and that made her very happy. At the final part when the Winner was about too be announced you can clearly see she is a bag of nerves. Then when she was announced the Winner she thought, 'I've made it'. Very Good Reactions to a Great Singer. 🧸🧸

You are correct that the West End is the Broadway of Britain. It is called the West End because of its location on the west side of London.
This performance by Sydnie is truly amazing in every way. One aspect that is under-appreciated here occurs twice. One at 2:11 and again at 3:36. Sydnie places a rest just before those time points, then comes back in on higher notes. She comes in on those notes with flawless precision. No sliding into the notes, no vibrato, just perfectly clean. Many accomplished musicians, vocal or instrumental, have difficulty stopping and then coming back in perfectly on a new note, yet Sydnie made it seem easy. That is truly masterful. ❤🤩

This is the most tenuous of connections to this song.
The only connection is that the artist is English. I think both of you would appreciate Raye performing Oscar winning tears live at the Royal Albert Hall.

The problem I see with her originally wanted to be on the West End, is that she is too good. She needs to be on tour and letting the world hear her voice. Not just those in the UK. She is just too good to be a broadway singer.

“Tomorrow” is my pick - from now on that’s the only version I want to hear of this song she slayed it - she completely made it her own , “Some Where Over The Rainbow” was the version that Loren Allred sang before on bgt and Sydnie got Loren’s ok to use her version( side note; Loren Allred is the lady that sang the song “Never Enough “ from the movie The Greatest Showman and just so happens to be Sydnie’s idol and someone that she really looks up to) that would be my number 2 and “My Way” is my 3rd favorite

Broadway is the American version of the West End. The Theatre Royal Drury Lane which is still in operation, opened in 1663 ........... so the UK had a bit of a head start. I think the oldest on Broadway is the Hudson???? early 1900s?

I am a new subscriber to your channel. I like your commentary, which is the reason I subscribed. I also love Sydnie Christmas. Her voice is so powerful and then so soft. A truly amazing singer.I get goosebumps everytime I watch her 3 performances. If you haven't seen it, Sydnie has a video out titled 'One Night Only'. It's a whole other side to her. She is so goofy in the video and it's fun to watch. Also, if you haven't heard about the winner of American Idol, Abi Carter won. I've watched all her performances several times, starting with her audition. She is another singer who doesn't realize her talent. She too is an awesome human being. Love to hear your reactions to Sydnie's video and Abi Carters performances.

Thank you for getting to the finale as soon as you did. Both of you are so great at seeing things in performances that we, as viewers sometimes see, but aren't always pointed out by other reactors. We differ on which is our favorite and that's absolutely fine. To each their own, right? : ))) I love that young lady and haven't wanted to see other videos of her singing (that weren't on BGT) because I just couldn't imagine anything else would be as great as she was on BGT. I took a deep breath and "plunged in" to watch a video of her with a male singer. I was SOOOOOOOOOO WRONG!! The song is One Night Only. If you thought she had personality in her audition, you WILL fall in love with her all over again, with this video. She's just cute as a button and it shows a fantastic Pop side of her. She is wonderfully animated in the video and we get to see and hear a side of her that tells us she can sing ANY genre and in which she is just as captivating!!! I'm not asking you to react to it, unless you choose to. But just watching it, for the sheer fun of it, you WILL not be disappointed!! Here is the link to that video. Thank you again, you're fantastic reactors!! czcams.com/video/Ncf-zZRJKcc/video.html

Sydnie's BGT songs are all too good to pick a favourite, so would go with her personal favourite, My Way.
It is quite a pity that you cut short the 'who's the winner' clip, as you missed Sydnie's comments about winning - really, she couldn't speak at first, remember? Then she shared with everyone in the concert hall, and beyond, "all the love" which was "amazing" that she has felt from all the support that has flooded her during her BGT journey: her voice indeed broke with emotion as she thanked everyone.
A down to earth, English superstar is born.
For anyone who hasn't found out yet, her parents and her brother & sister have all fully supported her all these years, not just her Nans. The camera was just focussed on her Nans so much, while much of her family were all there, too, as seen also at the end of her audition video.
