Yes! I personally use my bujo for my writing, but I find the Reflection section at the end of each month reaaaally helpful! It's where I see my progress and look back at the month to see the positive, negative and important stuff that happened.
starting to journal properly is so fun! I only decided to try journaling last May and I was just testing it out because I didn't know if it was something I would enjoy or not.. it has definitely changed my life and even helped me heaps with my mental health (especially my anxiety coz now I can visualise my upcoming days and not get overwhelmed about literally EVERYTHING)... this year I decided to have two journals, one for reading and planning day-to-day and the other is what I call my 'positivity journal' where I track my mental health and the positive things that happen in my life... I honestly thank you so much for getting me started, Chloe, coz seeing how much fun you were having with it made me want to try it out :) somehow my sister also started journaling shortly after seeing me do it, and two of my cousins also started after they got super interested in it sometime in December when they saw me setting up my 2020 journals...
