  • We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes but have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers. -MLK
We have come so far, but do we like where we have arrived?
I was sharing this morning during our ACIM calls that I have an electric toothbrush, I don’t even have to move my hand, it does everything.
We are not a dumb lot. We can invent things. We can take a man to the moon.
But we have not figured out world peace.
The problem might lie in the fact that although we have gotten a man on the moon, 12 men actually… we have yet to get a woman there. So much for ladies first.
But in honesty, “Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights.” does not begin with putting a woman on the moon or in the White House, but rather in seeing all things as equal.
This way of seeing and being stems from the way I see myself. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world but on what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes.”
I need to work on my soul before I heal the world.
The most unkind thing you can do is to take this world so seriously that you are willing to pay with fear and unkindness.
It is not about what is happening in the world. It is my meaning,
or the relationship I have with what is happening.
Acceptance does not mean we move into complacency, but rather contemplation: who do I get to be as an answer to this call for love?
Spiritual evolution, or what I call Spiritual Wingspan, evolves according to our conscious relationship
    A threefold relationship.
    A Holy Trinity,
three facets, but it is all one.
    These relationships are
    1. Your relationship with your God, and the stories and beliefs you hold about your creator.
    2. Your relationship with the world and the stories and beliefs you hold about the world.
    3. Your relationship with yourself and your stories and beliefs about yourself.
