Christ the TOCSIN album has this amazing atmosphere than no other album ever has, for so many years when i was young all through my teens and 20s it was my ABSOLUTE favorite album to play when i was getting ready to go out to our local club here on our one Goth night of the week. i enjoyed the whole process of getting ready so much, would spend 3 or 4 hours just taking my time showering and doing my hair and make up while i waited for it to get properly dark and night out. and this album and its sound would have me so hyped and ready to hit the club. i felt so amazing like i was tingling all over, those nights were the greatest.
In case anybody missed it, Anja released a new album of solo work a couple of months ago. 36 years absence and then it just dropped out of the blue. Manuela is back on guitar too.

This is a gem,why didn't their record label put out a good live performance in video. But this one has one of my favorites Eiland always loved the bass intro. Tocsin is amazing but Fetish is what I think nude raw Post /Punk is. Not just the songs but the production too.
If only i had a DeLorean, anja is gorgeous,this band is brilliant, makes me wish us teens had something like this to go to. Somewhere to escape to that isnt fucking discord lol and to see the audience not losing themselves in the music is a bloody disgrace. Nevermind. whoever reads this, peace and love from 🏴 ❤

Saw them on tour in Englend and do indeed remember being captivated by Anja and now I remember why !
