I think it is great you are traveling around and fishing waters tou never have before. Your knowledge and skill works everywhere! Keep the video coming Dave. You are doing great! One lake that you might to try while your down in the south is west point.
Been fishing the Hootch for over 40 years from North Georgia damn near to the gulf. The various impoundments (reservoirs) along the way are all unique, as are the river sections between the dams. You were getting schooled a bit at a new location and you ended up schooling them. Great video.
I grew up fishin' and campin' at a place named River bend on Walter F. George reservoir. Upriver from there loads of big catfish in that body of water. Brings back memories. Good one Dave !
Great video Dave.Several fish, very hard to judge sizes for me, looked like a few were in the mid, maybe upper 30 inches. Keep up the good work, and We will all keep watching.
Hi Dave!! Great job on the Chattahoochee. You turned it in to a great trip as usual. Love watching you shows on CZcams . Can't wait to see the next one . Thank you
Old whiskers rarely gets the best of you. You had us on edge the whole video till you figured them out. Once you broke out the yellow cheese I knew it was game on! After lunch you might have to breakout Little Debbies. Lol. Keep on cranking out the content.
Welcome to Eufaula. I haven't fished there in years. Then it was for crappie. I was surprised you found blue cats. I expected you to find channel and an occasional flat head. Thanks for the visit and video.
Catfish Dave Does America’s Waters. That should be the name of the tour you’re starting out on Mr. Dave. I’m enjoying watching you hit different lakes and river systems and defeating them.
I grew up on this lake. My father helped build the damn down near Fort Gaines Ga. We called it the Walter F. George lock. Use to catch channel cats by the bucket full back in the 70s.
As soon as you lost the very first one my thoughts were gar it's the same way in our river better have lots of bait it's still awesome fishing deferent water hope to see more
You are going to the song Choctaw Bingo by Ray Wylie Hubbard. Great song. I don't even know how to classify it other than maybe Texas Rock, Dave! Great video! Been by a few times but never fished in AL....just the TN, Hiwassee, Ocoee, Emory. Won't be long till you hit the Chickamauga again hitting those Sequoyah Plant boils 😉
Would love to see you get one of them big gar just once to see how big some of them get where you're at, down here in southeast arkansas they get big but I imagine you got some monster gar up there just like big cats!
Hey Dave, I know luck wasn't with you this time but we all thought it was great because you piped out another video for us. Especially us in the snow belt. Good job. I went fishing in the KAW river in Kansas once and as soon as my hook hit the water something took off with it. I would get it within 2-3 feet from my boat and they would get off every time. I was going nuts. Very frustrating. I finally got one to the boat and it was a gar. All I hooked all night were gar. I was fishing for big cats. Didn't catch a fish the whole time I was there. Just gar. I never went back. Maybe they were cats holding the bait like you were thinking. Never the less, you still found the fish... Good Luck...
Getting it done, way to go. When them fish come off like that, 2 or 3 in a row, it kinda makes you want to throw your poles in the river. Anyways, good show Dave.
Dang Dave gitter done , good to see ya traveling around and showing everyone just how good at the game you are ya can catch them old catfish where ever you go. And ya keep it real all the time. Thanks for the footage.
Was great watching you fish my favorite place to catfish. I have no boat but we love to camp at White Oak Campground and fish from the bank. Great video, thanks for all your videos.
Another one indeed! Awesome day on the Chattahoochee! Glad you figured out the bite Dave. It wasn't like you to miss them fish..but we all know the bite ain't slow on The Catfish Dave Show!
"never knew how much that muddy water meant to me, I learned how to swim and I learned who I was....a lot about livin and a little bout love....." gotta love ole Alan Jackson
Hope you enjoy your trip this time of year. I live approximately 40 miles northwest of there near Smiths Station, Alabama and during the summer, it gets sticky and humid. Miserable.
Now your in my neck of the Woods. And seeing how you came from the big Tenn... and is in You- fall -la you drove thru my home towns.... And you can find stripped Bass , Hybrid Bass, bout the size of that blue you caught, and yeah, maybe a Gater or 3...
Dave I been watching your videos for over a year now, I am a avid catfisherman and fish alot of tournaments a year, I would like to invite you down to kerr lake where the big boys live. Love your videos and hope you would want to come fish this world record lake. Let me know if you are interested.
Beware of the tall timber in the channel , verry good fishing lake. The boats you seen at the ramp the first night was crappie fisherman , Lake Eufaula is the crappie capital. I had a place on the Lake for twenty years. There a good Barbeque restaurant on the East side of the Hwy 82 bridge in George Town.
The board on your motor is going out I have the same one and it had the same problem its super easy to change the new one is supposedly updated no problem for me since replacing it tight lines ol buddy
Yeah In South Carolina do the same thing and some will keep backing off till it’s almost at boat or bank and already swallowed the hook ,. It’s amazing to see the difference between all catfish in different lakes and states ,. Good job catfish Dave u should come fish in lake hartwell close to the hartwell dam and also lake keowee , in Oconee county ,, city of Westminster, also city of Seneca and Anderson county which it covers Pickens county in Clemson and all the way down passed Anderson,. Big catfish in both lake hartwell and also keowee lake next to nuclear duke power plant,. Come on down ,.

Hey Dave. 40 minutes ain't bad. Eufaula I had some Gar messing with me out in the Everglades Thursday while fishing for peacocks. Casting live shiners and bouncing on bottom. So far it seems like you're catching perfect eater Blues. Wow, that has to be Gar. I hate it. Next you'll be trying to actually hook the gar. ha. Thanks for taking us along Dave. IT's always fun. Just leave he gar sit there so you can fish the other lines. Don't try to hook it. Just stop.
Catfish Dave catching fish in my area. Eufaula is a great lake for catfish and crappie. There are huge blues in the lake, a 110lb blue was caught up river in Oct. 2020. Next time you fish there, put in Hatchechubbee ramp and fish thar section of the 'hooch.
