What an incredible super group that may have been! The very thought of that! Wonderful track. RIP Chris Squire. Many thanks Steve for these great videos. I've grown up with all your music since the very early 70's,since first seeing with Genesis in 76,Trick tour,Glasgow. You are undoubtedly the artist I've seen most many times over the years. I look forward to Glasgow 1st December,Royal Concert Hall, all going well with Lockdown. Much love to you and Jo.👍😊
I wish that this album had got more exposure. It was an excellent piece of work that was more than the sum of its parts. I thought that Steve and Chris played off each other really well to achieve more than just something between Genesis and Yes. An excellent jazz-rock instrumental is just at the end of this clip.
Squackett was a brilliant album. Amazing how those two hit it off. I can't imagine anyone not getting on with Steve. In fact Steve and Anthony Phillips are friends. Says a lot about Steve and a lot about other people as well.
I always hoped for a second Squakett album. Chris even said it might happen when I asked about it. I hoped that I'd get to see him play when Yes were double-headlining with Toto. I bought tickets literally days before he announced his cancer diagnosis. Miss ya, 🐟.
Steve, this album was awesome. I hope you can perform this or any songs from this album live. I’m glad you and Chris Squire took the time to produce this wonderful work of art. Thank you.
When I heard that 2 of my favorite artists were collaborating I almost exploded! I remember that this music was being held up from release because Yes was promoting their new line up on "Fly From Here" and Steve was constantly asked when it would be released. But it finally was released and it should have been a monster of a success. Artistically it was! I would love to see a Steve and Trevor Rabin collaboration sometime.
I've never managed to crack Squackett. Clearly my failing, and I need to try harder. Why do I think Steve is leading up to ending a video with the Vulcan salute?
Steve, Steve, Steve - You have to turn off the Auto Focus on your camcorder! The picture keeps "breathing" in & out whenever you move, even the slightest little bit. Locking down the focus would be better, we can handle a little out-of-focus better than the distracting picture "wobble" we now see. These little track chats are great, keep them coming - they are the one good thing to come out of the lockdown.
Never heard this track before - checked it out on Spotify. Got a "Valley of the Kings" vibe about it. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album!
Obviously Tony Banks is giving the one thumbs down! Lol! Joking aside, how Steve’s music has creatively leaped over Genesis’ POP chart crap which makes if any, little sense that a band so creative and masterful, should have just quit when Steve did! Living Room Studio aka Hackett Roads! Lol!
Funny how Steve calls these "Track Chats", which I suppose sounds a bit better than "Song Chats" that I came up with a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully he saw that comment and decided to replace the "song" with "track", it's all good.
You seem immensely proud of this track/work with Chris Squire. Such a sad loss

I have the 5.1 CD of this and it's well produced by Roger King.I miss my hero Chris Squire as we all do. thanks Steve.

"Life Within A Day" always reminds me of "Kashmir" by Zeppelin. Those two would make a great mashup!

This would have amazing to hear live in concert.
Steve is always a class act. RIP Chris
Beautiful song! Beautiful memory! Legendary collaboration!

I quite enjoyed the Squackett CD. We miss Chris Squire. Cheers everyone!
Not heard this before, love it! This one seems to have passed me by, so one to get hold of for sure.
Great track and pretty bloody good album, really sad the partnership was cut short, would have loved to have seen it develop.
Love this album
It's like S.H.'s The Steppes and Zep's Kashmir. LOVE IT! Thanks for this.
I dont know how i let this one slip by me! Its incredible! The best of both worlds for me!! Hard core sexy sound!

Imagine being sat in a restaurant and in walks Steve and Chris with their loved ones. Who would be able to resist saying "hello"?

Agreed! Please, please turn it off
Sounds more like Genesis, Yes and Led Zeppelin all joined together. Darn good song!

God. I'm such a nerd. I saw this video and thought: I've got those monitors, me and Steve are monitor buddies!
There's so much things I don't know about music. I didn't have a clue that this existed. How?

@@user-se5gg5cy4y Hey thanks. I need to find some time to listen to his work.
Haven't listened to Squackett for a while - time to remedy that methinks....
Only Wakeman is missing to start crying with emotion, perhaps it is happening in a parallel world ......
