Louise Gluck is my hero. It's a cliché but her poems got me through tough times. The mundane and bleak portraits of common day-to-day existence in many of her poems drew me out of my misery. Reading her book, A Village Life, made me want to be a hermit. 😅 I don't need to have flashy things to deserve the world; I just need to exist in contentment. Thanks, Louise. ❤
❤
I am new to her poetry, rest in peace she’s truly becoming a inspiration to me as a poet ❤
