- May.15 -- Marriott International Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Arne Sorenson gives David Rubenstein the inside scoop on hotel mini bars, why they usually lose money for the company, the pitfalls of "self reporting," and why there is a can of Pringles in nearly every room. His comments come in the latest episode of "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations."
Next time I'm gonna rearrange the entire contents of the fridge and not take or open anything. I will not pay a penny otherwise hotel has a lawsuit.
I am always worried they are going to charge me coffee so I never touch anything in the mini bar
@ColoredSpaces
Always ask to remove the mini bar
You shouldn't be allowed to do that. Moving something and putting it back should never incur a fee. It should be on the hotel staff to check that item was used
this is not related to markets nor finance
Pringles are terrible for you! Hydrogenated oils, synthetic fats ( Olesteral in 1970 they made a synthetic fat called Olesterol to replace the natural occurring fat in foods to make it “ Low “ Fat ) If you have ever seen The Sweetest thing ( the movie ) there’s a part in the movie where Peter ( played by Thomas Jane ) Says those fat free chips will cause anal leakage, then ( Jason Bateman ) says you cause anal leakage, ( peter says it says so on the bag! ( Jason Bateman ) what kind of marketing moron puts anal leakage on the bag ( as he spits out the Fat free chips ) that synthetic fat can’t be broken down by your digestive system an passes right threw you an comes out thick as motor oil an its not easy to clean! It’s quite disgusting!
But it tastes good. Therefore i will eat
I want my 2 minutes back.
This is useful in Ukraine against Russia but they wouldn't pay.
